Construction & Maintenance
Hull and deck are constructed using Lloyd's approved Contourkore balsa and fiberglass laminate. Mast is stepped on the keel and supported by stainless steel rigging one size larger than necessary. Chainplated are anchored into a full structural fiberglass bulkheaad. Hull-to-deck joint is bonded, then bolted, then bolted again with teak toerail cap.

Comments
Slingshot has sailed on Lake Champlain since '92. Her present owners have done both cruising and club racing - primarily cruising in recent years. All systems have been continually upgraded by knowledgable boat owners. Custom designed asymmetrical sprit - excellent sail inventory. Slingshot has always been a fresh water boat.
