Here is a fine 1982 Bertram 35 ft convertible Sportfisherman with 3208 diesel power and a 7.5 KW generator, air conditioning, rigged with double spreader out riggers set up for serious fishing in Clinton CT, in the water, commissioned and ready to go.

The Bertram 35 MKII needs no introduction to the sport fishing world. With its overbuilt deep-v hull and twin economical 3208 300hp Cats. This boat makes a great fishing and family boat with reverse cycle air conditioning, generator, full galley and head with separate shower.

This 35 Bertram Convertible has a new fiberglass deck large cockpit with full width swim platform, Fighting chair, diesel 7.5kw generator. Inside of the sliding cabin door you will find the galley along the port side and salon couch along the starboard side. Two zones of heating/cooling, Roomy and comfortable V-berth in the front cabin, single berth in the mid-cabin with enclosed head and stand-up shower. There is tons of storage space. The flying bridge has a soft top with a 3 sided enclosure. With June15 Fresh bottom paint, this boat is in the water and ready to go.

Sidewinder is in original Bertram condition ala 1980’s which can be timeless, or needing up dating depending upon your point of view. A little interior sprucing up with more modern fabrics and décor will put her right up into this century.  Mechanically, she appears to be sound.

The Bertram 35's interior layout is well-suited for family cruising, although she's most at home as a fishing boat where her large cockpit, precise handling, and enviable sea-keeping qualities are most appreciated.
