For sale is this 1992 Grady White 254 Sailfish with a very rare Volvo Penta KAD42A diesel engine with less than 1700 hours. The 250 HP diesel cruises at 24 knots at 3200 RPM’s and achieves maximum speed of 30 knots at 3900 RPM’s. The outdrive is a Volvo Penta DP-D 290 Duoprop that was rebuilt in the Spring of 2015. Average fuel consumption is between 6 and 7 gallons per hour.

The electronics package includes a Raymarine RL 70CRC Plus 7” color display with chart plotter and sonar; a Raymarine DSM 250 digital sounder; a Raymarine 1000W transducer; a Raymarine 4KW Raydome 48 mile scanner with Power Tower Mount; a Raymarine GPS receiver; an ICOM M602 VHF with hailer; a Raymarine Ray 53 VHF; a Northstar 952 XW DGPS; Dual Shakespeare VHF antennas; a Clarion stereo radio/CD player with helm and cabin speakers.

Recent upgrades include a new compressor in 2007; new riser, exhaust horn and turbo charger in 2009;bottom completely stripped and four coats of epoxy barrier coat in 2009; new instrument panels and tachometer in 2013; new riser in 2014; rebuilt outdrive in 2015.

This Grady White Sailfish has a great reputation, is very seaworthy and has been meticulously maintained by its owner of the past thirteen years. This is a great value for a very rare diesel powered Grady White 254.
