Description:
Well known design, proven quality, and careful maintenance make this Catalina 27, Tom Foolery an excellent choice for those experienced sailors or someone new to the sport who wants a reliable easy to sail vessel that will give years of pleasure to her new owner.

From her graceful lines to her spacious interior…..her large cockpit with teak accents, to her reliable diesel auxiliary and newer Genoa…… and her Edson wheel steering…..Tom Foolery’s outstanding performance and handling characteristics, combined with a comfortable and efficient cockpit make her a joy to sail whether on the Bay or cruising the Lake Erie shores. A coach roof mounted traveler, Harken roller furler, all lines led aft, and Lewmar self-tailing winches, make sailing easy. She also features a Raymarine autopilot for self steering and a Bimini top to keep the helmsman out of the sun.

The boat is a traditional layout below with a dinette table that conveniently folds against the bulkhead when not in use. The marine head is just forward of the bulkhead with a hanging locker opposite to port. Forward is the V-berth with opening hatch above. Aft of the hanging locker is the port settee with a storage shelf above and storage below the cushion. Aft of the settee is the galley with alcohol range, S/S sink, Icebox, and ample storage in drawers and cabinets and well as behind convenient sliding plexi doors. The companionway steps separate the galley from the starboard quarter berth that serves as storage or a wide bunk. Her Universal diesel in under the companionway’s removable steps behind a hinged door. Forward to starboard is the starboard settee with storage shelf above and storage under its cushion.
