Accommodations
Fwd cabin offers 6'3" head room and a 6'3" long berth. Vanity with sink to port allows guests to wash up without tying up the head. Storage is in a hanging locker aft to stbd, in drawers under the berth, along hullside shelves, and in a cabinet below the vanity sink. An overhead hatch and 2x opening cabin ports keep this cabin bright and fresh.
Main salon is large with plenty of seating for a social group along a U-shaped settee to port and a straight settee to stbd. Dinette table can be lowered to create a 7'3" long double berth. The stbd settee, at 6'5" long, can also be used as a comfortable berth. Storage is in cabinets and shelves along the seatbacks. Fresh air and natural light pour through 6x opening ports and 5x overhead hatches.
Nav station is just aft of the stbd settee. An Ultraleather-covered seat pulls out from under the full-size chart table. Storage is hidden under the flip-up table top. This area can be used as a desk, for charting the next day's course, or just for monitoring the ship's systems, using the breaker panel and battery monitor located here. The nav station is convenient to the cockpit, making it easy for the navigator to communicate with the crew.
The head is also convenient to the cockpit for easy access while underway. Headroom here is 6'8". A door to the separate shower stall keeps the head area dry. Storage is in a hullside slider cabinet in the head, and a locker in the shower stall. 2x opening cabin ports keep this area ventilated. A door aft to the master stateroom allows private access to the head by the owners.
Master stateroom is all the way aft, spanning the width of the vessel. The 6'8"-long island berth is an appealing feature, as it allows easy access from either side of the berth, and a comfortable night's sleep on a full-size queen bed. Located under the cockpit, this cabin receives plenty of fresh air and natural light through 2x overhead hatches that open into the cockpit, and 2x opening cabin ports. Storage is in hullside sliders to port and stbd, flip-up cubbies under nightstands to port and stbd, along hullside shelves, and in hanging lockers to port and stbd. A mirror on the forward-most bulkhead makes this cabin feel even larger.

A naval arcitect was consulted prior to the modification, and he deemed that the modification wouldn't change the boat's handling characteristics. If a new owner feels strongly about returning the wings to their original width, the removed pieces have been preserved, and an estimate of $1500 is suggested by a local ironworks group for reattaching.
