The Catalina 36 is a classic performance/cruiser. "Irie" has been tweaked with a richer looking interior, a walkthrough transom, and redesigned aft cabin improving the earlier 36?s. She has a very comfortable interior that can sleep 7 and is perfect for 2 couples or as a family retreat. She has a large cockpit that is great for both sailing and entertaining family and friends at the dock. The 36 is a performer with its wing keel and a shoal draft of only 5ft. She can go up and down the intercoastal and through the Bahamas and do it all economically with a Universal 35 hp fwc diesel. She has a good turn of speed under power and sail and in fact can get around the buoys for some exciting club racing. She has been lovingly maintained and shows extremely well.
