The Cat specs show this motor a "B" rating, 3-5,000 hours a year with oil changes every 250 hours. Fuel burn is 8 gallons per hour at 1750. Range would be an easy 1000 miles leaving 100 gallons in each tank. Prop load in rough seas will increase fuel burn.
HIGHLIGHTSNAMASTE is a Durbeck built Seaton 48 Pilothouse offered by her original owner. The keel was laid in 1977 and the boat was completed and commissioned in 1979. Interior/layoutThe galley is aft of the saloon on the same level. Small dinette is opposite the galley, seats two. Going aft and down is a large full beam guest cabin with Port and starboard 7' bunks, desk, en suite head and stall shower. Going forward and down from the saloon you enter the owners cabin with Island queen berth and large ensuite head and stall shower. Forward of the owners cabin is a utility/tool room in the bow area that can easily be converted to a V berth or crew cabin..

Engine Room/MechanicalEngine Room is accessed by the lift up staircase in the master stateroom. The engine room is under the saloon floor. The headroom is 4 feet on either side of the engine and 6 feet in front of the motor. Through transom wet exhaust with fiberglass muffler.
Main engine is rated for 20,000 hours and has 4300 since full rebuild out of the boat.
