AdditionalThis is a fastidiously cared for J/120 with numerous upgrades. As an example of her owners attention to detail, when leaving the boat even for just a day, all cushions are flipped up and cabin sole pieces are removed. A few sponges are strategically placed in the bilge so that in the odd event that even a few drops of water were there, the sponges absorb it to better allow it to evaporate quickly. I found the bilges absolutely bone dry the day I went to list the boat after rain the prior day. The interior is impeccably clean with only the slightest signs of use; the interior literally comes across as being 7 or 8 years newer than it actually is.
For those familiar with J/Boat lingo, she has the following upgrades which are incorporated into the specifications above: Graphic group, Comfort group, Systems group, Deluxe trim group, Teak hull siding or ceilings as well as many other single options most important of which is the Carbon Fiber mast. Again for knowlegable J/Boat aficionados; she has the improved anchor locker forward and was built well after the keel sump was improved and re-engineered.
This J/120 is on her 2nd owner, Originally delivered into Ches. Bay she was very lightly used there when purchased at 3 years of age by her current owners. She has been used cruising on the coast of Maine seasonally since that time, hauled and covered 8 month of the year. Being dealers we are very familiar with these boats and have seen dozens of them and can recommend SALU highly to anyone who wants a capable performance cruiser/racer.
