A gorgeous Sabre 34' Targa with her eye catching Flag Blue Awlgripped hull and low engine hours, "Points East" has been smartly updated with new main sail and genoa, electric primary winches, new electronics at the helm, electric windlass, refrigeration, Espar diesel heater, inverter, Evolution line cutter, Fairclough canvas winter cover, and other details.  Her interior is clean and accommodating with 2 private cabins (fwd and aft), a vanity if the fwd cabin and a full enclosed head aft and convenient to the cockpit.  This is a special opportunity for someone to own a rare model at a terrific value.

"Points East" is priced so attractively because she ran aground and has subsequent damage.  Her owner is currently battling a health issue and cannot take on the project of bringing her back up to speed.  Please look closely at all of the pictures to see the damage that we're aware of: a nick in the lead keel from the grounding, crazing aft/stbd of the keel in the hull fiberglass, separation of the galley bulkhead from the galley cabinetry and the L-settee, a crack in the corner post at the galley counter, and some detached tabbing at the base of the same bulkhead.  Please also note the severely corroded links of chain approx 2' from the anchor.

Estimated cost to "screw and glue" the interior pieces back together and make this vessel compliant with insurance requirements is approximately $6,000.  Of course, the sky is the limit for the wildly ambitious purchaser, who might invest in rebuilding interior components, refinishing, re-Awlgripped, etc.

Despite the damage disclosed above, "Points East" does offer a special value and is well worth considering.  All items can be addressed over the winter at the premier yard in which she is kept, resulting in a special vessel for cruising next spring.
