Accommodations
There are a total of 6 berths: 2 in the forward V-berth, 2 in the aft cabin, 1 on the stbd. settee, and 1 to port in the U-shaped dinette. Custom gel mattresses are fitted in the V-berth and the aft cabin.
Entering the salon, your first impression is light, space, and elegance with 6’2”standing head room. Teak staircase leads down to salon/galley. Limerence has 4 opening hatches and 8 opening ports. Engine access under the stairs. Chart table/navigation station is to starboard facing forward with storage in desk and under navigation seat. Forward to starboard there is a settee with green leather cushions and accented finished woodwork bookcases. There is a u-shaped dinette with teak folding table with wine rack inside opposite to port. There are book shelves/cabinets to both starboard and port with grab rails. Entertainment center on port side features TV, DVD/VCR combo player, stereo speakers, and satellite receiver. There are several 110v energy efficient lights in the salon including a brass extendable wall lamp with halogen dimmable bulb. The salon has teak and holly sole throughout and vinyl/teak overheads with four fluorescent lights in overhead.
Portable Air Conditioner is set up in the cabin and can be easily stowed when sailing. It is operating when the boat is docked to control moisture and insure comfort.
The interior features exposed bulkheads sheathed with teak laminates and teak hardwood trim. Sliding Sunbrella drapes provide shade for main salon windows. Limerence teak and holly sole is carpet covered throughout.
Custom Nav Station
The custom Navigation Station to starboard houses a complete complement of electronic communication, navigation, main electrical panels, and power management systems, including radar display FMD-81, SSB Marine/Ham radio with Pactor III modem, SGC model SG-230 antenna tuner, and extensive copper grounding system. The SSB ICOM IC-706MKIIG is an all mode VHF, HF,and UHF unit.
Entertainment Center The entertainment center is located on the starboard side on custom shelf with mounted SONY Trinitron 13” color television. Sharp multi-zone VCR/DVD combo player operates in European and Central American countries. and stereo speakers, and Digital TV Satellite Receiver SAT+ model X-91with remote antenna. High fidelity speakers are located on both sides of the salon. Music is also provided by a new AM/FM stereo receiver with compact disc player, and Ipod input. This is located at the nav. station. |

The upgrade to the gearbox was performed because of a worn spline gear. The new upgrade converts the spline gear with a hexagonal shaped interconnecting drive shaft with a matching flywheel plate. This was performed pre-emptively and not as the result of a problem.

Spectra Reverse Osmosis 180 Watermaker delivers 8.3 gallons per hour @ 8amp. The Spectra Watermachine with its unique Clark Pump is the most efficient marine watermaker available. The Clark Pump is an energy recovery and pressure amplification innovation developed and manufactured by Spectra. It is powered by a flow of relatively low-pressure water from a separate pump (feed-water pump). The Clark Pump boosts the pressure of the feed-water to the reverse osmosis membrane (800 PSI). The watermaker control panel and instruments are located in head. Watermaker pump, filters and membraneare located in starboard lazaret.
Hookah oil-less dive compressor with adjustable regulator, Hausbell/Hausfeld 110volt – 9.6 amp operates from shore or inverter power, with 60’ dive hose 3/8I.D.
Raritan hot water heater with 6-gallon capacity– dual source engine or 110v input power.

Storage Tanks:
Diesel fuel is stored in 2 rectangular stainless steel tanks for 67-gallon total capacity, and both tanks have baffles and inspection plates. An electric pump transfers fuel from forward to aft tank. Fresh water is storedin (2) plastic tanks (50 gal each) under salon settees. Waste sanitation is stored in (1) hard plastic tank, (20) gallons with T-Series discharge macerator discharge pump.

Propane gas is stored is in (2) composite see-through Trident LPG tanks.

Cockpit
The cockpit has an integrated dodger/bimini combination. The mainsail traveler was relocated from the cockpit to the coach house roof and all halyards are led back to the cockpit. This feature significantly increases safety under high sea/wind conditions and the cockpit is self-draining. In addition, the cockpit has two zip-on wrap around full enclosures for weather and sun protection: one is made of white Textilene and the other is a Plexiglas window type.
The very dry cockpit has a customized teak folding dining table, remote radar, backup wheel autopilot and instrument displays, vhf speaker/mike, and cockpit cushions. There is a manual bilge pump and emergency tiller. There is a deep storage locker on the starboard side with access to the water maker and filters, and plenty of storage. Propane locker and more storage aft – easy access to below deck hydraulic steering system. There is an electric winch on starboard cockpit coaming to raise dingy.
Freshwater and saltwater wash down located in cockpit. There is a Ritchie Compass, binnacle mounted and lighted.
Arch
The stainless steel aft arch was designed to raise our dinghy via electric or manual winch. It makes it convenient to deploy the dinghy quickly, and hoist it for safety and security. The arch completely replaces the stern pulpit and is an integral to the design. The arch is strong and holds the Achilles 2012 - Hypalon 9’10 Dingy w/15 hp Mercury Motor. Outboard engine is hoisted with a block and tackle system. The arch also supports radar and communication antennas, solar panels, anchor and floodlights, wind generator, Force 10 propane barbeque grill and spare anchors as well as adding two aft seats in the cockpit. Electrical The electrical power systems on Limerence, has been significantly modified for live-aboard cruising. The design considerations focused onenergy efficiency and a balanced design of battery storage, and charging capacity. You will be able to sit quietly at anchor for several days without starting the engine, and still have the electrical comforts of home.
The electrical AC power system was designed for 110 volts, so you can use standard off the shelf products, like microwave, entertainment components TV, VCR, appliance, tools, vacume cleaner, and reading lights.
The Vessel’s primary electrical power is 12-VDC supplied from the (3) 4D, maintenance free heavy duty deep cycle marine gel-cell batteries. The batteries are mounted in custom locking enclosures. There is also (1) 12-VDC Optima sealed Red Top backup starting battery.
Smart multi-stage Regulator, Ample Technology - Next Step model NEXT -12p with automatic temperature compensation, and adjustable absorption setpoint for fast full charging of gel-cell batteries.
Inverter Trace Model 2512 pure sinewave, 2500-watt inverter/battery charger with 6,000 watt surge power capacity converts the 12vDC from our batteries to produce clean 110 volts. This unit also serves as an automatic and quiet battery charger when at the dock.
Wind Generator - Fourwinds II super quiet wind generator/alternator mounted on Arch with capacity of 12volts @ 22amps.

Galvanic Isolator Guest Model 2433 protects boat from the galvanic corrosion and metal loss that occurs from the resulting DC current and shore power connection. This is a passive isolator blocks DC current that wants to flow to the water, but passes the necessary AC ground current and the dockside power ground. The unit is loacated in aft lazarette and is rated at 30Amps AC @ 50/60 Hz.

Furuno Navtex NX300 Telex unit receives NAVTEX navigational warnings, meteorological warnings, search and rescue information and other data for ships sailing within 200-400 n.m. of shore. Every incoming message is identified and new messages are read from the high-contrast 4.5" LCD display, no paper is required. The NX300 consists of the compact, waterproof display and an H-Field Loop antenna mounted on the arch.
Simrad, IS-15 multifunction instruments displays, depth, boat speed, apparent wind speed and direction at helm. Multifunction repeaters located at navigation station and forward berth. Simradââ¬â¢s plug-and-play IS15 wind instrument system has been specifically designed for sail boats.
With a selection of six different instrument heads, IS15 presents useful information via multi-function digital and dedicated analogue instruments.
The robust IS15 system is comprised of:
One IS15 Wind ââ¬â a clear analogue display of apparent wind direction with precise readout of wind speed, which makes for more efficient sailing is located at the helm.
Three IS15 Combi ââ¬â corresponding data is arranged on display screens in groups: speed, log, depth, wind and navigation are located at helm, navigational station and forward berth.
- Survival Safety Engineering Model 060 mounted at Nav. Station. The Collision Avoidance Radar Detector (C.A.R.D) is a back up instrument in case of failure of Limerence's primary radar system or when conserving energy. The unit will display the relative bearing of any vessel operating radar and provide an alarm tone to alert crew.
Primary autopilot below deck Robertson Hydraulic Linear Drive HLD2000 interfaced to intelligent Robertson AP-20 autopilot. The unit has a compact control panel, bulkhead mounting at the helm. Large LCD display for readout of autopilot data and rotary course knob. It is interfaced to the IS-15 instrument system and Furuno GPS unit. Backup or secondary Robertson Wheel Autopilot WP-30 is a self-contained automatic pilot, with highly sophisticated electronics with advanced software and a powerful mechanical drive. It provides a reliable backup if the main autopilot fails or under reduced power consumption operations. It provides reliable and accurate steering performance under a variety of different conditions with minimal power consumption.
The Wheelpilot has been designed so that, while it represents the state-of-the-art in marine autopilots with many advanced features, it remains very simple to operate, using only five keys to access all functions.

Isomat Aluminum Mast/Boom with vang. Mast stepped at keelson, removable inner forestay, whisker pole mounted on mast and manual Barbarossa backstay adjuster.
Shrouds are ¼ and 5/16 inch, 1 by 19 strand stainless steel wire rope, which are attached to chrome/bronze turnbuckles and stainless steel chain plates. Chain plates are thru-bolted to interior bulkheads. Harken traveler track located on cabin top with control lines to cockpit. Genoa traveler tracks and Boom vang Hall Spars model B-12 (hydraulic).
