OVERVIEW
FIVE STAR is a Talaria 55 Flybridge model with the optional Mann V12 engine package, a full helm station in the flybridge and an inside steering section in the pilothouse. Spacious accommodations below include a galley, master suite, open dinette that converts into a berth and two full heads. The interior is finished in gloss-varnished cherry with custom raised-panel detailing, white-noise-absorbent overhead with custom varnished cherry battens, and a varnished teak and tulip cabin sole. Large overhead opening cherry-trimmed hatches have screens and sun covers, while portlights have drop-down accordion-style curtains. Interior is further enhanced with flush overhead lights with dimmers, bulkhead-mounted lamps and hidden rope lighting behind valances and under seat fronts.
PILOTHOUSE
Entry from the cockpit is through polished stainless steel-framed, full-height, curved glass doors opening into a spacious living area with a 360 degree view all around. There are two C-shaped settees built in, port and starboard, each with a varnished cherry table with electric high/low pedestal (all fabrics new 2013). Further forward to port is an L-shaped bar with storage, and opposite is an icemaker. The cabinetry to port includes a custom hide-away storage area for TV outboard of the entertainment center. The aft doors have custom Roman blinds, and there are Skysol electric pleated blinds for side windows, which are all tempered tinted glass.Front windows have exterior snap-on Textaline fabric shade covers.
The helm is forward to starboard and has a varnished cherry dash and an electric retractable tempered-glass helm side window. This area also has the upgraded Hinckley JetStick II, engine controls, nav instruments and gauges, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. Twin powered Stidd helm seats with tan Spineybeck leather cushions (2013) are on chrome pedestals and electrically slide forward and aft, as well as pivot. The helm has an open view to the galley below, as well as to the surrounding deck and seascape.
ACCOMMODATIONS and LAYOUT
GALLEY:
Stepping down from the pilothouse, to port is the galley area, detailed with varnished cherry cabinetry with a wrap-around Corian countertop and backsplash. This area is open to the pilothouse and receives lots of natural light and ventilation and also has a portlight over and outboard. There is generous storage space throughout, including custom dish and glass lockers.

LOWER DINETTE:
The lower dinette, to starboard across from the galley, features a comfortable U-shaped seating area and hi/low powered table that converts this space to a double berth. There is storage under the cushions, as well as outboard in louvered lockers. A 28” flat-screen TV is mounted on the aft bulkhead. Just forward of the dinette, on centerline, is a custom bar area with built-in wine cooler and glass-front lockers above.
GUEST/DAY HEAD:
The guest head, forward of the galley to port, is finished in Light Cream Gelcoat in the shower area and varnished cherry in the vanity area.

MASTER STATEROOM:
The owner’s stateroom has a centerline forward-facing queen berth with a custom cherry headboard tastefully covered in fabric and custom art lighting above. There is a large wrap-around settee forward with TV above, several large hanging lockers, numerous drawers, shelf space and custom alcoves port and starboard. The berth bottom hinges up to allow access to a cedar-lined storage area below, and the space is customized with extra Soundown sound-absorbing panels on the chine area to reduce noise from wave slap. There is custom bedding, including cashmere sheets (never used).
MASTER HEAD:
Aft to port in the master cabin is the entry to the owner’s head. This head features a separate stall shower finished in Light Cream Gelcoat. The vanity area is varnished cherry with Corian counters and backsplash.

HULL and DECK
Hull: Hinckley DualGuard Composite Construction- Kevlar®/E-glass outer skin. Aircraft grade end-grain balsa below the waterline. Carbon fiber inner skin.Laminated with Vinylester resin using Seaman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP®). These materials and building techniques provide a superior surface finish, greater resistance to osmosis, a high degree of stiffness and greater hull strength against impact damage and thermal insulation. Non-metallic composite through-hull fittings with ball valve seacocks are below waterline and above the waterline where appropriate. Bronze seacocks, through-hull fittings and sea strainers on propulsion engines.
Deck: E-glass outer and inner skin with aircraft grade end-grain balsa and closed cell foam core - laminated with Vinylester resin using Seaman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP®).
Flybridge: Fiberglass unit with Corecell core, which is through-bolted to the pilothouse top.

FLYBRIDGE

Forward to starboard is a molded helm console with double Stidd helm seat and complete engine and steering controls, as well as full electronics.
