Going forward, lower helm station to starboard is across from galley. Proceed down 2 steps to forward cabin with v-berth to sleep 2, and head with wand shower. DInette settee also sleeps 2. 29’ 1979 Prairie Trawler fuel sipper

Description

1979 29ft Prairie Trawler, 12 ft beam, 3.5 ft draft clean, ready for cruising.  85 hp Perkins 4-236 Diesel  rebuilt at 1100 hours) with 2372 hours Balmor 100 amp alternator.  This trawler is a fuel  sipper at 1.2 gallons per hour, 6.5 knots at 1800 rpm.  16,000 btu Marine AC 2003 with digital panel, 3 burner propane cooktop 2009 , 110/12 volt Engle Refrig/Freezer combo 2009, electric head.  Separate 110v fridge.  Upper and lower helm instruments including Garmin  GPSMap 498, Garmin 160-c depth sounder, Standard Horizon radios, Navman auto pilot 2006 not installed, Azimuth digital compass on lower helm, NextGen 3.5 kw generator with 220 hours driven by Kobuta diesel burns .2 gal per hour.  Vetus 55kgh bow thruster 2003 makes single handed docking a breeze.  Lewmar H3 electric windlass 2007 controlled from bridge or foredeck with washdown pump.  2 8D main batteries new 2011, Xantrex duel 40 amp charger charges main batteries and two separate 12 volt batteries for Engle fridge/freezer.  New prop shaft, coupling and cutlass bearing, 2012, new Exhaust elbow 2012, two new ss fuel tanks in 2006 108 total gallons, 100 gallon polyethelyene water tank 2006.  Two coats Ameron 2 part bottom sealer and 3 coats bottom paint in 2012.  Many spare parts onboard.  Bottom is clean.   Eight Boss Boat fiberglass dinghy and strong davit system, transom door for easy access to dinghy.  Canvas bimini top over bridge deck and rear cockpit.  New algrip on decks 2013.  Recent cabin make over with new cushions and blinds.  Extra large v berths for 2.  Six and a half foot headroom throughout.  Wide cabin for max living space as well as good side decks for bow access and docking.  Many say this is the largest 29 ft trawler ever built yet easy to handle for even a single hander.

Accomodations

Sedan style cabin on same level as rear cockpit.  Lower pilot station on starboard, galley on port with hot and cold pressure water.  Settee in rear on port and starboard side with lots of storage.  19” flatscreen tv mounted port rear cabin.  Three steps down to head on port side and hanging locker on starboard.   Very large and comfortable v berths with custom made mattresses.
