Donzi became one of the first manufactures to implement emerging Ventilated Stepped Bottom running surface technology into its boats, with its much heralded “Z-Tech” hull design.

The stepped-hull 28 ZX replaced the non-stepped 27 ZX. The result was a dramatic increase in speed, handling, and rough-water ride.
