The Bruce Bingham-designed Flicka is a pretty boat that will go anywhere. The hull of the boat is drawn after the Newport boats used on Block Island to tend lobster nets at the turn of the 20th century. The prime criteria for the design were seaworthiness and comfort. Her light-air performance is truly phenomenal; she is able to keep up with boats 15 feet longer. The boat comes into her own when going to weather or when the elements pack in. And she is surprisingly comfortable.
