One of Catalina's new sleek designs, the Catalina 400 is a great sailing boat, fun and easy to handle. Cruising sailors can enjoy the benefits of safety, visibility for the helmsman and easy stern access that were previously available only on grand prix and custom yachts.

The 400 Mark is equally beautiful in less apparent areas such as the engineered fiberglass sub-sole structural grid and well planned electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems. Many of the features most desired by cruisers are built into the 400. Large deep cycle battery banks, ample water, fuel, and waste tankage, big anchor locker with a powerful windlass, high quality ports, hatches, and hardware are all standard. Her large cockpit with walk-through transom, dual helm/steering wheels for outstanding visibility on either tack. With all of her extras this beautifully maintained boat is ready to go.

The Catalina 400 is one of the most refined, successful designs to come from the drawing board of Catalina's excellent architects. This 40 footer is the perfect size for two or more to live the dream, and the owners did just that. She has always been a Great Lakes fresh water boat, with the exception of one long and glorious trip from northern Lake Huron to the west coast of Florida and back. The owners took her on their dream of a lifetime;  across New York on the Erie Canal; down the Hudson River; out New York Harbor; around Cape May and down the entire Chesapeake Bay; down the east coast; around the Florida Keys and all the way to Tampa Bay……and then back again to Lake Huron 3 years later.

“AnnaLisa” is a strong sailing extremely seaworthy sloop rig which will safely take you anywhere there is enough water to float her. This is a very comfortable and very roomy cruiser with most of the comforts of home. She is well suited as a long range cruiser and/or a live-aboard yacht, or an easy to handle day sailor. This vessel was very well equipped right out of the factory and has had numerous upgrades in the last 4 years.
