Accommodations
With her wide beam carried far aft, "Rascal" has the roominess and conveniences of a much larger yacht.
Her forward cabin has a large double "V" berth with filler, hanging locker, vanity, plenty of storage and room for changing. A louvered and hinged pass through in the main bulkhead gives way to a view of her cavernous salon which features a long settee to port that may be utilized as a pilot berth. Aft of the port settee is a full sized chart table with the electrical panels placed conveniently just outboard. Immediately aft of the navigation station is the head compartment with a mirrored vanity and toilet while a separate stall shower with door is adjacent.
Opposite to starboard is a huge "U" shaped settee with a dinette table that converts to a double berth for two when needed. Lockers and shelves surround the salon while 13 fixed or opening ports and hatches provide generous amounts of light and fresh air.
The starboard side salon gives way to a large galley area with ample storage and is located next to the companionway steps.
Behind the galley to starboard is access to the private aft cabin with a hanging locker, vanity, bookshelves, and a huge double berth of more than 6'8" length.
Directly aft is the spacious galley and opposite is the large head compartment with a separate stall shower and toilet. Headroom is a generous 6'5" and the length of all berths is 6'4" or greater.
Aft of the galley is the huge master's cabin that has an athwartship king sized double berth, hanging locker, vanity, and additional storage.
Particular attention has been given to appointments and details such as discrete hand-holds to navigate safely through the yacht's interior, but also includes the beautiful joinery that includes teak and holly cabin soles. Three large hatches and two additional fixed ports provide generous amounts of natural light and ventilation which imparts a feeling of a bright and spacious interior below.
Galley "Rascal's" large and fully equipped galley is conveniently located near the companionway to easily and quickly serve the crew in the cockpit or while dining on the salon table. Counter top provides plenty of workspace and convenience for the chef with two large built in dry lockers and attractive glazed galleyware cabinets behind.
