Always a popular model, the Carver 27 Santego is a modern mid-cabin family cruiser with an unusually spacious interior. In order to gain interior volume, Carver engineers extended the Santego's cabin sides to the hull's full width. The result is a huge cabin and salon with 6'3" of headroom, two hanging lockers, large salon windows, and two deck hatches. Forward there is a V-berth and U-shaped settee/dinette that converts to an additional berth. To starboard there is a huge galley that features refrigerator/freezer, 2-burner Princess alcohol/electric stove, hot and cold pressure water system, stainless steel sink, and tons of storage both above and below the large counters. To port there is a private enclosed head with shower, Vac-U-Flush head with dockside pumpout, stainless sink with vanity and ample storage. Aft there is a mid-cabin that sleeps two and features a privacy curtain and large windows with drapes. Outside the large aft deck offers a transom door.

There is a teak and stainless ladder to access the raised bridge. The bridge features a single helm seat and a large L-shaped companion seat that seats 4. Her twin, freshwater only, 205 hp Mercruisers with Alpha I I/O's have 800 hours, and will cruise the 27 Santego at 19-20 knots and reach a top speed of 30 knots.
