Accommodations
The Hunter 49 is an exceptional cruiser with luxurious accommodations designed on a high quality build hull.
Above decks Wisp offers a very large and well designed cockpit with dual helms, walk-thru transom and swim platform. All the lines lead aft to sheet stoppers and Lewmar electric winches. The primary winches are within easy reach of the helm and are also electric making short or solo sailing a breeze. At the port helm the skipper can easily adjust the main, sheet the jib and use the electric furling gear to shorten the head sail. High coamings, long bench seats, and stern rail seats offer comfortable seating under sail and while entertaining dockside. Wide, easily traveled side decks, inboard shrouds and high lifelines provide safe passage fore and aft for anchoring and docking.
Below decks the 49 is pure comfort. The main salon is open and airy with rich teak woods and glossy finishes. Large fixed side ports and Hunter's famous "windshield provide abundant natural light even on the cloudiest of days. The main salon features a large convertible dinette to starboard and long bench settee to port. A removable bench offers additional seating and excellent storage. Aft on starboard is the full cruising galley with corian counter tops, 2 refrigerators, 2 freezers and all the storage needed for extended life aboard. Opposite the galley on port is the navigation station with Captian's chair, nav desk and all the breaker panels. The two aft cabins are very spacious and offer wonderful guest quarters - double berths, hanging and shelved lockers and good ventilation. The owner's cabin is forward and features an island double berth, private head with separate shower stall and loads of storage.
Wisp makes it all very comfortable with 3 Air / Heat zones, BOSE surround sound, flat panel TV's and very comfortable bedding.

Manufacturer Provided DescriptionA luxurious passagemaker with a versatile floor plan for total extended offshore cruising, the Hunter 49 offers a complete range of live aboard accommodations and outstanding entertainment features. With an overall length of 49 feet 11 inches , plus a 14 feet 5 inch beam and 6 feet 9 inches of salon headroom, the Hunter 49 is a BIG boat with impressive interior volume. Driving the Hunter 49's new hull is a specially engineered sail plan that achieves maximum efficiency while maintaining the Hunter trademark of single-handed sail-ability, which is a great feature for a boat of this size. Components aboard the Hunter 49 include Hunter's famous mainsheet traveler arch, backstayless B & R rig, a battened full roach main sail, and two headsail options: single self-tacking jib or self-tacking staysail with overlapping jib. A dual-ended mainsheet allows adjustments from both the cockpit and companionway, and all sheets and halyards end at the cockpit.
