This Sabre 42 Hardback Express features the preferred 2 stateroom layout. Finished with a full varnished cherry interior with a varnished teak and holly sole with extensive natural light and ventilation with 6 opening ports and 7 hatches below and a helm deck surrounded with glass with a centerline opening windshield. Two side windows with sliders and an aft window that opens, there is at once an abundance of natural light and ventilation. Head room is app 6'-5" throughout. When natural ventilation is not enough, there is a total of 48,000BTU of reverse cycle (heats and cools) air conditioning. Extensive 12 volt lighting with swivel style reading lamps at berth and settees and Cantalupi recessed lighting throughout.
Starting forward is the Master Stateroom featuring a 60X80 island queen berth with cargo drawers below. Outboard the hull is lined with varnished wood "ceilings" above which there are under deck lockers and shelving for storage. Aft and to starboard is a generous hanging locker while to port is a bureau with 4 drawers.
There is a private access door from the Master Stateroom to the enclosed Head is just aft and to starboard featuring a Vacuflush fresh water W.C., vanity with molded counter top and sink and storage in a number of lockers and a drawer. The separate stall shower is just aft and also has a seat.
Aft of the Head is a the Guest Stateroom with double berth outboard, inboard of which is a bureau and hanging locker. Additional storage may be found in drawers below the berth and in underdeck lockers above.
The port side of the yacht below ensconces the Dining Salon forward and Galley aft. The settee has storage under and outboard of the seat back and in lockers and shelves above and outboard. Dining is from a high low pedestal table. A flat screen TV is mounted opposite the settee.
The L-Shaped Galley is aft and features a Corian counter top polished Scandvik single basin sink with H&C pressure water, 2 burner Ceramic cook top, convection microwave and dual voltage under counter refrigeration unit with freezer. Plenty of storage with a top access locker in the outboard corner of the counter and in 4 drawers and several lockers. The 4 step ladder leading to the helm deck also has storage under each step.
The Helm Deck provides plenty of room for entertaining with a large L-Shaped settee to port with storage under and a high low pedestal table while opposite to starboard is a small bench seat. Forward is a console which houses a 2nd refrigerator freezer, wet bar, and a TV. Two Stidd Seats with Ultra Leather upholstery provide all day long comfortable seating for the Captain and Navigator. The Helm Station to Starboard incorporates all the navigational electronics and vessel controls.
The aft door just to starboard of C/L leads to the cockpit with aft facing bench seats to P&S, large deep lazarette storage and transom door to the swim platform. Up two steps to the wide side decks providing ease of access forward.

The Sabre 42 Hard Back Express with the optional engine package as JACQUELYN M. will cruise at 24 kt+ at 80% engine load of 2400 rpm giving a range of 355 NM. For those preferring a more economical cruise sepped the boat is comfortably up on plane at 15 kt. running at 1800 rpm and getting a 648 NM range.

Hull & DeckHunter green fiberglass hull with vinylester resin in the exterior laminates for superior blister resistance and with Dyvinicell closed cell foam coring. The hull was Awlgripped Hunter Green in 2013 with a custom white/green white boot tripe and gold cove stripe. The bottom is finished in Petit Horizon Red ablative anti-fouling.
Fiberglass deck with moulded in beige non-skid .on white in the appropriate areas. Coring is end grain balsa for the best possible compressive strength. Varnished teak toe rails and brow, stainless deck hardware.

Additional InformationPurchased new by her one and only owner, this Sabre 42 Hard Back Express was used seasonally in the summers in Chesapeake Bay and then in winter months in FL for the first 3 1/2 years. She was then trucked to Maine in early 2010 and has been in the water from mid June to late Sept. since and in inside heated storage in the off season. The sellers love the boat but had not found the time to use her but very little last year and do not foresee using her extensively this season either. She will be launched on schedule about June 15th +/-.
