Vessel Refit
The vessel completed a full and detailed refit in 2012. This includes extensive repainting, complete teak package, replacement of the main engines, transmissions, installation of a second 20 Kw generator, new shafts, props, hydraulic bow thruster, air conditioning, windless, rudder, steering system, U/W lights, 8 tuna tubes, water maker, new interior coverings, stereo system, teak bulkhead, appliances, sonar system and all new electronics. Completed September 2012 in San Diego, California.

REMARKS: The propellers (2-sets) are new. The shafts are enclosed in fiberglass tubes to minimize the water disturbance to the propellers.
CockpitThe teak cockpit deck is in pristine condition, and has a Murray Brothers fighting chair with four rod holders in the rocket launcher and rigging station located behind. Light tackle blue water teak rocket launcher with 8-rod holder is also in boat inventory. There is a very large tuna door on the starboard side of the transom opening outward (1,213-lb blue marlin fits). Eight tuna tubes are mounted in the transom with super pump. There are three swiveling rod holders per side on the covering boards, and two rod holders per side on each of the aluminum tower legs.
Ice box is located starboard, 49”x20”x10” inside diameter. Eskimo ice system dumps into this box. Center refrigerated box is 75”x20”x8” and 49”x20”x9.” All boxes are stainless lined. Access to the engine room is located midship facing forward with a hatch leading down four steps. There is teak mezzanine seating facing aft from window along new teak bulkhead and wings (2012) between salon and cockpit. Mezzanine seating doubles as a freezer as well. Fresh water wash-down connection located port and saltwater wash-down located starboard. There are two air conditioning vents above mezzanine seating with a dedicated 16,500-btu unit.

Engine RoomAccess to the engine room is located midship facing forward with a hatch leading down two steps from the cockpit. Moving forward are twin MAN marine diesel V-12 engines on starboard and port, with ZF 2050 transmissions. The two Northern Lights 20 KW generators are located forward of engines, Racor fuel filters are located on the aft bulkhead behind the engines, Eskimo ice machine all the way forward. Reverso oil transfer system is located center all the way forward next to the Furuno sonar transducer. The Mach 5 freshwater pump is located next to the port generator. FCI reverse osmosis watermaker forward outboard of starboard engine with Spectra 24 VDC reverse osmosis water maker mounted on top. As backup. Fireboy fire suppression system is located Port side aft bulkhead. Charles industries 50 Amp battery charger located starboard forward of the water makers, seven AGM ships batteries, Rule bilge pumps 2 forward, 2 aft. Ventilation fans aft of bulkhead, American bow thruster hydraulic oil tank forward outboard of port engine, spare shaft, hydraulic steering gear located aft. AC/DC lighting. FlybridgeTwo large helm chairs by Release Marine that swivel at control station. Two Miya Enoch micro computer control US9 teaser reels are located above the helm station. There are four Quartz lights molded in the hardtop for cockpit lighting. Seven aluminum rod holders are mounted on back bar of the bridge. 5” Ritchie mounted forward in dash. Bridge has fresh water wash-down connection. Tournament helm station pod includes, ZF single lever controls with bow thruster control buttons, MAN engine displays, start and stop buttons and trim tab control beneath pod station.

TowerShe is equipped with an aluminum tower with a buggy top with bench seat and padded back rest. A full set of ZF engine controls, including Furuno Nav-Net 3D 12” display, Murphy gauges, Icom VHF Radio, Simrad Joy Stick steering system, Bow Thruster controls, autopilot, and Ritchie compass. Atop the helm station are four Shakespear Galaxy 5018 antennas, satellite 24” dish antenna, 41’ aluminum Rupp outriggers on each side of the vessel with three spreaders. Remote control ACR search lights located atop tower floor.
