MechanicalA single 600 HP fresh water cooled MAN diesel provides cruise speeds to 14 kt turning a 30X31 Nibral 4 bladed propeller in a 2.5" shaft through a ZF V-drive transmission. The engine, currently showing 1272 hours had full 1,000 hour service in 2020.
The yacht was originally built withÃ? Hundested hydraulic drive turning a controllable pitch propeller.Ã? As planned by the current owner when he purchased the boat this was removed and a re-work of the drive train was accomplished which also removed about 5-600 pounds of weight from the boat.Ã?Â
From sea trials with the owner and broker onboard on 9/3/22 with 1/4 fuel, 1/4 water and no owner gear.  She is on plane at about 12.0 kts. Per MAN rep 75-80% load with full load in boat would be 2050 rpm perhaps as high as 2100. Owner reports about 1/2 knot less than what is recorded below when the boat has a full load. (the fuel burn is approximated as the Flowscan was erratic, the highest observed burn at a given RPM is what was recorded), speeds are the average of up tide and wind and down tide and wind in calm water.
