Overview
This dark blue Beneteau Swift Trawler has cruised from Key West to Maine, up and down the Florida west coast and several trip into the Bahamas. Cruising comfortably with 2-4 crew at speeds from 8 to 18 knots. She handles rough and smooth sea with ease.
Loaded with impressive creature comforts -- seating, berths, full galley, air conditioning, and a dry running hull she is fun cruising for a couple with guests.
Walk ThroughThe spacious salon is entered from the sliding glass door on the aft deck. A large comfy settee is to starboard behind a large cocktail/dining table,. The settee converts to a double berth and the table expands for dinner guests. The galley is portside and is fully equipped with appliances and dual deep stainless steel sinks, cherry stained mahogany countertops, drawers and cabinets. The helm station is to starboard and features a large helm/companion seat which adjusts forward and aft. The helm console is fully instrumented. The large windows forward and on both sides together with the large sliding doors gives excellent visibility from the salon area. The sliding entry doors access the side decks at the helm and thru the galley.
Forward and down steps is the forward cabin. The guest head is to port and the guest double stateroom is to starboard. The master stateroom is forward and features an island queen bed, hanging locker, drawer storage and an ensuite head.
The entire interior features warm Cherry-stained Mahogany joinery. The sole throughout is planked Cherry-stained Mahogany. The window treatments are accordion shades in a neutral color.
DeckThe deck spaces on the boat are designed for safety and ease of moving about. The entire main deck system has high bulwarks with teak cap rails. Large hinged boarding gates are placed at starboard cabin entry door and in the transom. The side decks and the foredeck are non-skid fiberglass. The entire fore deck and bow pulpit is surrounded by heavy stainless steel safety railings of sufficient height to provide security to persons while underway.
The large cockpit has large teak covered hatches which provide access to the large lazarette storage areas and generator room. Hinged fiberglass wing doors protect the aft deck from weather while underway. The side decks and the cockpit area are protected from sun & weather by generous overhang from the bridge and the spacious boat deck.
The AB R.I.B. aluminum hull dinghy is carried on a substantial davit system which is easily operated by one person and keeps the motor in an upright position while the dingy is aboard. The a new 9.9 h.p. Four stroke engine remains in an upright positions as it is lowered into the water. The Seawise davit is mounted on the swim platform is such a way which allows safe uses of the platform whether the dingy is aboard or in the water.
There is a substantial stainless steel ladder with heavy curved teak treads starboard side on the aft deck which provides easy access to the fly bridge. A large hinged hatch in the boat deck can be closed to provide safety to those moving about the bridge & boat deck. The bridge helm area is center in the seating area and provides excellent visibility for the helmsman. There is a starboard guest seat and an L-shaped settee for four more guests to part. The helm is fully equipped for engine operation, navigation and communication. A bimini top provides weather protection. The is a folding table, storage cabinet for additional storage.

Easy to launch and retrieve
Engines & EquipmentThe engines, transmissions and other equipment is housed directly beneath the salon sole. Access is through a hinged hatch aft just inside the sliding salon door. This space is limited in height but the placement of the engines and other equipment provides good access.
The 11 KW Onan generator is mounted in the lazarette area. The generator is in a full sound shield with access panels for servicing.
There are both AC and DC electrical systems on board. DC power is provided by large AGM battery banks isolated for each engine and house circuits. AC is provided from shore power or from generator output. Electronics and lighting is 12 VDC. The batteries are maintained by either a 40 A Dolphin 3 bank charger or a 100 A inverter / Magnum charger for house bank operated from shore power or generator. While underway the engine driven alternators handle battery charging.
