WALK THROUGH TOUR
Appreciate this well designed Catalina 387 from the dock before stepping aboard through gate. Walk forward to bow on nonskid decks within double lifelines. Notice the bow pulpit with anchor and chain run through electric windlass inside anchor locker with foot controls.
Walk aft to stern. Observe the walk through transom to scoop designed stern with folding swim ladder guarding the open transom. Note how the ladder folds down to create easy passage from cockpit past helm to stern steps and ladder for a swim or boarding your dinghy. Also note 2 lockers at stern and hot/cold shower for a refreshing rinse off after swim. Return to cockpit to observe large comfortable seating under bimini around helm and 2 stern rail seats. Note helm with large wheel and navpod with navigation instruments.
Move forward and step down 5 scooped steps to large salon. Note 6' 9" headroom and lovely teak wall and cabinetry with teak and holly sole. Turn to starboard for navigation station, settee forward that converts to 2 cushioned seats between table or one long settee that may serve as a single berth. Turn to starboard to note large U-shaped settee surrounding table. Note there are 2 tables for use with this settee - a larger one also converts the settee to a double berth.
Proceed forward and open door to private guest suite. Notice the double berth angled to open area on portside. Observe ample storage in hanging and shelf lockers, and in drawers under berth.
Return to salon and move aft port side for U-shaped galley alongside companionway. Observe ample counter workspace and cabinet storage space. Walk around counter with double stainless steel sinks to fully equipped galley with propane stove and oven, microwave oven and front/top loading refrigerator.
Walk aft through door to master suite. Appreciate extra long queen berth lying athwartship with cushioned seats on either side. Observe ample storage in hanging lockers and drawers on both sides of berth. Notice covered engine compartment forward in center under companionway. Tip cover back to admire easy access to engine and mechanicals. Move to starboard to enter private head with with electric marine toilet, vanity with sink and cabinet, and separate walk in shower with folding doors. Exit forward to nav station.
