Remarks
The Bertram 51 Convertible started her life in 2000 to replace the aging 50 Convertible. This boat received the much needed Italian influence from the newly acquired owners of the Ferretti group. Her profile is stunning and sleek with newly designed elliptical windows and sweeping curves abound. This is clearly the "New" Bertram styling above the water line that the entire line will mirror. Below the water line, however, is still the traditional, well proven, Bertram's deep-V configuration. She continues to be one of the best head sea boats in her class. The cockpit boats a very large 142 sq. ft. of legroom!! The cockpit has all of the amenities that the most demanding fisherman requires. There is a large freezer compartment to keep many blocks of bait ready to go. This is flanked by a tackle center that has plenty of storage for all the riggings and a sink to keep things clean. To starboard is an optional live baitwell with easy access at waist level. You can use either the transom fishbox for your catch or the floor mounted removable fish box with macerator. You have the transom door to haul in the big ones!! This Bertram will be just as happy to continue her life as a cruiser, as she has most of her life. She was a northern boat for most of her life and was brought south last year by the second owner who has had a change of plans. She is easy to see in Ft. Lauderdale with just a quick call. We just took her in on trade and will look at your trade too. This boat has been maintained to the hilt. Being a northern boat, her gel coat shines and the rest of the boat follows suit. She awaits her next owner anxiously and that could be you. Come check her out - you won't be disappointed.
