The maxum 3000 SCR is a family express whose modern styling And attractive interior make her a lot af boat for the money.  Shes built on a solid fiberglass Deep-V hull, and her 10 ft. beam is about average for a boat of this size. The mid cabin floorplan is arranged in the conventional manner, with the convertible U-Shaped lounge aft and a double berth in the forward stateroom.
Both cabins have fold away privacy cabin doors.  By offsetting the forward berth maxum designers have created a spacious and very open interior.  Under seat and under berth storage is plentiful, and three overhead hatches and six opening ports provide excellent lighting and ventilation.  On deck a U-Shaped settee in the cockpit (with a removeable table) converts into a sun lounge.  A built in wet bar is standard, a gas assist hatch in the cockpit sole provides good access to the engine compartment.  Additional features include a walk-through windshield, a sporty simulated burlwood dashboard, an integral bow pulpit, and a fore deck sun pad.  Optioal 5.0 MerCruiser I/Os will cruise the Maxum 3000SCR at 22 Knots and reach a top speed of around 35 Knots.
