Built in the third year of a production run of the most popular 40 foot sailboat ever designed...the 1998 Catalina 400 is an excellent price/value   Features like a Solid Fiberglass Hull, shoal draft with Lead Keel, and Keel stepped mast insure "good bones" in this stiff offshore sailing machine.  You don't have to worry about a misaligned interior after an extended big water offshore passage. She's built to sail with confidence and safety.

  • December 2016 Premium Bottom Job done by Embree Marine including: media blast to substrate, sand bottom after media blast, hull hand faired and sanded, Metal primer applied to keel, two coats of Interlux 2000/2001 epoxy applied to bottom, two coats of SeaHawk Cukote Blue applied with a third coat at the water line
  • Media Blast prop shaft and strut, metal primer, two coats of tie coat primer, and two coats of Vivid Antifouling applied to prop, strut, and shaft.  Replaced sharft zinc and Spurs line cutter zinc. December 2016
  • Westerbeke  42B 42 HP serviced by Gulf Western Marine in November 2016.  Fuel leak fixed (service record available to serious buyer) Note: engine estimated to have between 1200 to 1600 Hours...hour meter is not accurate (new one installed November 2016)
