Accommodations
The interior of this yacht is beautiful with quality cherry cabinetry including dovetailed drawers, louvered cabinet doors, and a well maintained teak and holly sole. The main cabin accommodates a large L-shaped settee with a fold up table with folding leafs that open across the cabin to the opposite 6' 4" single settee, creating a comfortable dinner table for guests. With the table stored on the bulkhead the L-shaped settee converts to a double berth.
Aft of the single settee to port is an aft facing navigation station.
The owner's cabin is forward and private featuring a large vee-berth, a polished stainless vanity sink and mirror and seat. To port is a large cedar lined hanging locker. A deck hatch above and two opening port-lights provide plenty of ventilation and light to this cabin.
The aft cabin is to starboard and under the cockpit sole with plenty of privacy and space for two. It contains a double berth, a seat, drawers, and a cedar lined hanging locker. There is a port-light to provide natural light and ventilation.
Aft head to port with separate stall shower.

Manufacturer Provided DescriptionEasily managed by two, the Sabre 362 is designed for high-performance luxury cruising. The hull design is a blend of Sabre's performance design concepts, proven in transatlantic passages and offshore racing, together with the latest developments in yacht design technology. Her powerful sail plan gives excellent light-air speed. On deck the Sabre 362 features a new generation of styling harmony which evolved from the detailing of the Sabre 38 and Sabre 425. Her cockpit incorporates advanced ergonomics for comfort on extended passages. Self-tailing genoa winches are located close to the helm for convenience and ease of sailing. Every Sabre incorporates the best hardware: Edson, Hall Spars, Harken, Lewmar and Westerbeke to name a few. The Sabre 362, like all Sabre hulls and decks, is built to withstand the rigors of the sea. Safety and structural integrity are put first in the construction by alternating layers of hand laminated fiberglass mat and knitted roving. Balsa core is used as a stiffener in areas of high stress. Hull durability is increased by incorporating vinylester resin and ISO NPG gelcoat into the DuraLam protection system. Belowdecks, the generous beam of the Sabre 362 gives her a very spacious and open plan. Her forward stateroom is especially large with a full-width double berth and a convenient vanity sink unit. The main salon has a full width table that folds against the bulkhead when not in use. The chart table has ample lockers for recessed navigational instruments. There is exceptional storage in her L-shaped galley in the many drawers and lockers. The molded fiberglass head features a contemporary island sink, a separate shower stall, and a wet locker for foul weather gear. Her finely hand-crafted and varnished joinery gleams in either teak or cherry. PHRF Handicap (Average): 111
CommentsBeuna Vida is a wonderful example of the quality that Sabre built into their yachts. From the success of the Jim Taylor design to the fine fit and finish above and below decks This yacht has been continuously upgraded and is ready for cruising immediately. Her roller furling genoa and NEW Quantum mainsail stowed in a NEW stack-pack make this a great boat fort two. Below decks the wide beam and beautiful cabinetry set this yacht apart for other production boats. Buena Vida was re-powered in 2010 with a NEW Westerbeke 35 and has only 360 hours. She has just had the entire deck, boom and the lower half of the mast repainted along all exterior teak being professionally varnished.
Beuna Vida's owner is serious about selling, but will also consider selling 50% ownership to the right individual.
Buena Vida has just had her transom professionally repainted and has just returned from the yard having her bottom repainted (July 2014) She has also been professionally re varnished. While out of the water and at the yard she was surveyed and that document can be shared with serious buyers.
