According to the Power Boat Guide....."An innovative design when she came out in 1997, the Sea Ray 580 Super Sun Sport has the sleek appearance of a purebred European sport cruiser. She's a sexy boat with her rakish profile and molded hardtop, and the transom- with its PWC garage and flanking walkways- is a real eye catcher. Belowdecks, the opulent salon is dominated by a full-length Ultraleather sofa that converts into a double bed at the touch of a button. the master stateroom, with its private head and queen size berth is aft, while the guest stateroom is forward. Both heads have separate stall showers, and the home-style galley features acres of counter space and very generous storage. Cockpit highlights include a big U-shaped lounge aft of the helm, full wet bar, hidden fold out steps in the coaming and a sun lounge atop the PWC compartment. Note that there are 2 entrances to the engine compartment, one via a cockpit deck hatch and the other by lifting the floor of the garage. Twin 776HP CATS will cruise the 580 in the high 20s and top out in the low 30s."
