Vessel Walk Thru
The Sabre 47 provides accommodations for up to 6 in a 2 stateroom galley down configuration, the aft or Master having the preferred island queen. The interior is beautifully finished with a full satin varnished cherry interior with varnished teak and holly soles. The Salon sole was refinished in 2016. There is an abundance of natural light and ventilation with 15! stainless steel opening ports & 3 hatches all with screens in the trunk cabins and then a Salon space surrounded with windows 4 of which are sliders with screens. When natural ventilation is not enough extensive reverse cycle (heats & cools) air conditioning manages interior climate control through a wide range of outside temps. Equally well thought out is interior 12 volt lighting with swivel style reading lamps at all berths and settees and extensive overhead dome style lighting. Headroom throughout is 6'-8".
Starting forward is the Guest Stateroom with the preferred V-berth arrangement. With the filler in the berth is so large that a couple could sleep athwartships if so desired! Above the berth the hull is lined with varnished trim and then under deck lockers while below are drawers P&S. On centerline, below the berth is a cabinet housing a combination washer/dryer unit and aft and to P&S are hanging lockers.
Aft and to starboard is the Guest Head featuring a VacuFlush WC, separate stall shower with seat and vanity with Corian type counter top and porcelain sink.
Opposite to port is the U-Shaped Galley equipped with U-Line 110 Volt below counter refrigeration and freezer boxes (2), Princess 3 burner electric stove with oven, Sharp Carousel microwave. A deep double basin sink is fitted in the Corian counter tops and there is extensive storage in several lockers and drawers.
Up 4 steps (with storage under some) to the Salon and Lower Helm featuring side doors P&S and an aft door to the flying bridge. To starboard a a generous U-shaped settee measuring over 7'-4" in length with dining off a Hi/Lo Cherry table that drops down to berth height. Upholstery is Hunter Green Ultra Suede. Opposite is an entertainment center (the current owner prefers quiet cruising and reading and the original TV etc. has been removed), forward is a small "breakfast" bar area with room for two to sit with small chairs. This space an also be used for charts.
The Lower Helm is to starboard with storage and in ice maker (requires service) below a double width bench seat, the back of which folds down to provide serving space when dining. All navionics, electrical panels and vessel controls are within easy reach.
Down 3 steps to the impressive full beam Master Stateroom featuring a 6'-6" X 56" island queen berth with cargo drawers under. There is extensive additional storage outboard in lockers shelves and drawers. Forward of the berth is a very large hanging locker to starboard and bureau on center line. The Master Head is to port with separate stall shower with seat, vanity with porcelain sink and Vacuflush WC plumbed to the holding tank. An aft companionway allows easy egress to the cockpit.
From the Salon it is just 2 steps up to the aft deck and through a door that allows one to reach the flying bridge without going out to the side decks. There are wide side decks with low bulwarks and tall stainless steel safety rails with gates P&S providing easy & safe access fore and aft. Plenty of room in the lazarettes and lockers P&S of the anchor platform to stow fenders, docklines and cleaning gear. The cockpit provides easy access from the swim platform via the transom door.
Up top the Flying Bridge features Pompanette swivel helm and companion chairs P&S and aft and to starboard is an L-settee with storage under and pedestal table.

Hull & DeckFiberglass hull and deck, partially cored with end grain balsa coring. The hull was refinished with Alexseal Flag Blue 2 part linear polyurethane finish with a custom boot-stripe in 2016. ( Alexseal is a very highly regarded fiberglass finish not as widely known as Awlgrip but has better gloss and color retention). In approximately 2013/14 the house and decks were refinished in Awlgrip with the side decks with Griptex in non-skid areas. Exterior woodwork is kept to an attractive teak cap rail, brow on the house and some other more minor pieces, enough to show she is in fact a yacht while keping the maintenance budget in check.
