REMARKS
PESCATORE is one of the last and certainly the finest Hinckley Sou’wester 59s ever built. Created for an experienced bluewater yachtsman, PESCATORE can be easily sailed shorthanded anywhere in virtually any condition. Unlike most of her sisterships, she boasts a tall carbon fiber rig controlled by a Lewmar Commander hydraulic pack. Her hull is constructed of Kevlar composite, which makes her both lighter and stronger than other SW 59s.
She has an ultra-high-gloss varnished cherry interior with brass hardware and a three-head, three-stateroom arrangement that includes a main salon, nav station, galley and engine room. Set up for performance shorthanded sailing, she has a carbon fiber spar, spade rudder, excellent sails etc. PESCATORE is the Hinckley 59 that everyone wants and dreams of. She is now available and 100% ready to cruise or race.
Her centerboard configuration offers a minimum draft of 6’-6” with board up and a maximum draft of 12’-6” with board down.
ACCOMMODATIONS
PESCATORE features a cherry gloss-varnished interior plan with solid teak and holly sole (re-varnished 2010), white overhead and cherry trim. She is designed for the comfort of both guests and owners, and her 3-stateroom, 3-head plan features a separate work/navigation area in the passageway aft and a large owner's suite aft.

AFT PASSAGEWAY
Forward of the aft cabin is the starboard passageway to the main salon area. This passageway has access to the insulated engine room inboard and a work area outboard. There is recessed lighting, plus an opening port for additional light and ventilation. Passageway Work Area:
This area features a work-table with Formica lift-top to access storage space below and a chart drawer. Below the drawer is a trash bin and door with shelves outboard. There is additional storage outboard and above the workbench to starboard.

ENGINE ROOM
Inboard, the acoustically-insulated engine room houses all pumps, engine, generator, compressors etc. There is a custom removable work-bench top with vise on the generator.
MAIN CABIN
Forward of the aft passageway is the navigation station area with the galley opposite to port - both handy to the cockpit companionway. Forward is the dining area to port and a starboard settee/ entertainment area. The main cabin has double track curtains that are double-pleated. There are integral handrails, centerline and to starboard, which run the full length of the cabin under the ports.
Main Salon:
The full-width main salon has a U-shaped dinette settee to port with cushions covered in navy leather with Sunbrella bottoms.

- Sunbrella weather covers for main salon seating protects the leather cushions offshore or while the boat is being worked on
- Additional storage is in lockers outboard and above to port of the settee

NAVIGATION STATION
Aft to starboard in the main cabin is the forward-facing, sit-down nav station with varnished cherry chart table with a full complement of electronics in custom lockers. The nav table opens for chart and nav instrument storage and has a Joderburg chart light. There is a filing cabinet drawer inboard.

GALLEY
The galley is aft to port of the center cockpit companionway ladder and is reverse J-shaped. A half bulkhead separates the galley from the dinette. There is a cherry handrail on the galley bulkhead. The galley has a Kilimanjaro Corian countertop with integral backsplash.

Hull is a cored laminate of Kevlar/E-glass using the SCRIMP® process injecting vacuum-pressured Vinylester resins in a single step. This method using these materials greatly increases hull strength against collision and abrasion and provides greater stiffness and thermal/acoustic insulation. Chopped mat in low-shrink Vinylester resin provides a superior surface finish. Hull deck connecting flange, centerline and keel, chain plates, rudder post and all through-hull fittings have foam core removed and massively reinforced with extra layers of fiberglass. Mast step and engine mounts are bonded to the hull stringer system for a light and strong single unit.

COMMENTS
PESCATORE is an excellent example of a "proper" Hinckley Sou'wester 59. She has been captain-maintained through the years and is in excellent condition. She is set up for shorthanded sailing with powered winches, Stoway mast, autopilot, bow thruster etc. Continually upgraded through her sailing career, PESCATORE should be considered by anyone in search of a well-detailed boat of this size.
