Saltwater Taffy definitely isn't your ordinary Catalina 42.  This 2 Cabin has been equipped and setup for off-shore and coastal cruising.  In fact, she has just returned from a year long cruise from North Carolina to the Chesapeake and down through the Bahamas.  

From removable inner forestay with running back stays that handles a heavy-weather staysail or an inner storm jib to her mainsail with 5 full battens mounted on Harken Batt Cars she is ready to go.  Her long range cruising is enhanced by 2-140 watt solar panels and a full freezer.

Her cockpit is secure with a dodger with Makrolon panels that provide the best in visibility without distortion and a full cockpit enclosure that extends your cruising into cool and inclement weather. 

In addition, she has original artwork in the salon and forward stateroom from renowned North Carolina artist, Robert Irwin.
