The interior is well planned and unparalleled spaciousness for a boat of this size. There is plenty of storage in an abundance of lockers, drawers and shelves for live aboard or long range cruising. The owners also had two large custom built storage lockers built aft of the cockpit for additional gear storage. The joinery is cherry wood and the teak and holly sole shines like a new penny. The lighting and ventilation in the cabin areas are exceptional.
The cabin consists of a stateroom fore and aft with two marine heads with showers.

SALONAn L-Shaped settee is to port with beautiful shelving and cabinetry behind. Opposite the sofa and across the beautiful teak and holly sole are two barrel swivel chairs. This arrangement makes for a delightful, charming conversation area to entertain your guests. The salon table has been customized on stainless steel sliders in order to expand the table for comfortable dining or to slide it away for stowage. This enhances the overall space in the Salon. There is also center storage in the table top for cutlery and wine bottles.

COCKPITThe Center Cockpit is quite spacious and allows for ease of handling the running rigging and navigation. There are also two large customized lockers behind the cockpit for additional storage for lines,and equipment for an extended cruise.

HULL AND DECKThe Bristol has quality construction and the hull is hand laminated solid fiberglass, reinforced in high stress areas. The deck, also of hand laminated solid fiberglass, features a 1/2-inch balsa core for stiffening and a molded nonskid deck surface. The deck is fitted to a recessed flange on the hull and through bolted on 6-inch centers. The hydro dynamically shaped centerboard is constructed of solid fiberglass with steel reinforcing rods for added strength. All chain plates are stainless steel and through bolted to fiberglass knees, which are bonded to the hull. Each chain plate is accessible for routine inspection.

SAILING EQUIPMENTThe keel/centerboard design translate to superb boat speed with increased flexibility depending on water conditions and depth. The boat has an excellent sail area to wetted surface ratio, along with a long waterline, for great boat performance. This boat can comfortably be handled by two people. All lines come back to the center cockpit.
The sails are in very good condition. The Mainsail and 130% Genoa were new in 1998 and used from 1998 to 2001. The owners always remove the sails from July to November each year to protect them from Florida sun. The mainsail is always rolled up in the mast.
