The DECK is unique among center cockpit yachts her size. The high bulwarks create a sense of seaworthiness and security The center cockpit is deep with high, secure, comfortable coamings. The coaming caps are wide, creating a second seating level in the cockpit.Ã?Â
The AFT DECK is large enough to accommodate deck chairs. The hatch to the large lazarette locker below is flush for maximum useable deck space. The forward end of the trunk cabin is gently angled and textured for safety on the foredeck. The non-skid texture and contrasting colors are molded in for safety and durable good looks.Ã?Â
The INTERIORÃ? is a skillful blending of traditional warm yacht finishes and bright, low maintenance materials creating an atmosphere conducive to elegant entertaining or extended living aboard. The U shaped GALLEY is located to starboard and is designed to keep the cook sheltered from main cabin traffic yet included in the conversation and social activity. The galley is bright and well ventilated. There is lots of counter space, storage and a huge divided ice chest freezer. Cooking aboard the Morgan 44 is an enjoyable task.Ã?Â
The MAIN SALON is located mid ship and is accessed as you descend the stairs from the companionway cockpit. The main salon features a bifold dining table that accommodates 4 comfortably with both flaps up. There is an L shaped settee to starboard and straight settee to port which also serves as a sea bunk with lee cloth or pulls out to make a double bed. There is plenty of storage in the dining table drawers and cubby and above the settees. Forward from the main salon is access to the forward GUEST stateroom and forward head.Ã?Â
The FORWARD GUEST STATEROOM is accessed via the Main Salon. The forward stateroom features a large V berth flanked by storage on both sides and a hanging locker to port. There is also access to the Anchor locker.Ã? The forward stateroom has a small changing area and access to the forward head. FORWARD HEAD is also accessible via the Main Salon.Ã?Â
Going aft, the NAV STATION is located to port as you descend the companionway stairs. The Nav station features an opening table with shelves and swing out adjustable chair.
Aft of the Nav station is a walk thru Hallway down the port side that goes past the engine room compartment door and has additional storage and countertop on the outboard port side. The walk thru hallway to port leads to the aft Owner's Stateroom.
The walk-in ENGINE ROOM is sound insulated, and will accommodate all the mechanical ammenitiesÃ? required for a comfortable life aboard. Engine maintenance can be properly performed without disturbing the living quarters, all major mechanical components are centrally located in the engine room.Ã?Â
The AFT OWNER'S STATEROOM is located aft of the engine room. The owner's stateroom features a large centerline queen with tons of storage. The aft stateroom also� features an ensuite head with separate shower and TUB! The aft owner's stateroom cabin features ample storage in cabinets, under/behind bunks and settees, and under the cabin sole.
Nine Hatches and 13 opening ports provide excellent ventilation throughout the boat when swinging on the hook.

Engine RoomThis is undoubtedly one of the many highlights of the Morgan 44 sailboat. There is a 19" wide by 51" tall engine room access door from the port side hallway. The compartment itself is large enough to sit in and easily move around and gives excellent machinery accessibility. On the forward end of the compartment and aft of the low water bilge pump access, there is a heavy-duty built-in shelf for an optional generator installation. It also serves well as a toolbox storage system (tools and toolboxes not included in sale). The water heater, engine start battery, battery chargers, and alternator external charging regulator are also installed in the engine room. There is additional access into the engine room through a hatch located behind the companionway ladder.
