The history of the Silverton boats is very interesting. John and Henry Luhrs were following in their father’s footsteps and purchased the small operation of Silverton Sea Skiffs in 1969. These are the same two that started the Luhrs and Hunter line of boats. They expanded the line over the years and launched the Silverton 37 Convertible their most popular model. Silverton  produced this 37 for a long nine year run from 1980 to 1989. It was very popular for family cruising with nice accommodations and contemporary styling. The forward v-berth is very large and the dinette converts to another double. She has a full head and shower. The teak interior adds some luxury with a soft feeling. The bridge is a little small for a boat of this size. It fits four comfortably and has nice visibility all around. She is a straight drive boat coupled with 350 Crusaders that will cruise about 18-knots and top out in the mid 20’s.

This particular boat does need some updating but has the basics in tacked. Give a call and I can describe the faults. She is priced accordingly so if you’re inclined please give a call to check her out.

The owner has his sights on a new boat so come and make a deal!
