Vessel Walkthrough and Special Features
RUNNING SURFACE- She rides on a Displacement hull with sharp entry and a large keel, twin engines for nice dockside handling, with the added convenience of a Bow and stern thruster. There is a wireless remote for Thruster control. Bottom paint and underwater zincs were refreshed June of 2018.
CRUISING INFO- best cruise speed is a 1700 rpm which delivers a speed of 7.5 to 8 kts while burning about 4 gph (2 gph per engine)
MAIN LEVEL- You can board from the sides or from the Transom. Wide side decks, PLUS a generous aft deck that is covered. There is a canvas and eisenglass enclosure for the aft deck. The swim platform features a folding swim ladder, plus a ladder to the main deck. Also, from the aft deck there is a ladder up to the Fly Bridge.
There are port and stbd side doors from the pilothouse onto the side decks. A Portuguese bow protects the side decks from sea spray, with a centerline walkthrough for easy access to the foredeck for line handling or anchoring (Windlass with 300' of 3/8 chain and a Plow anchor, plus a Danforth lunch hook).
The Salon, Galley and lower helm are all on one level. With a sliding rear and Pilot house side entry doors, access is easy all around. Sliding Salon windows with real wood blinds, excellent headroom. NEW HVAC system for comfort, plus a 38" Vizio HDTV with DVD player for entertainment. Speaking of entertainment, there is a Kenwood AM/FM/CD/Sat ready stereo unit with 8 speakers and a 1000 watt Amp.
Comfortable Galley arrangement with 3 Bar Stools, "home sized" refrigerator/Freezer, ample counterspace, plus a propane fired 4 burner Stove and Oven.
The Pilothouse is just forward of the Galley and these 3 areas are all in combination to make this an Awesome Space.
There is a rear stairway to the Master Cabin which is aft, plus another stairway from the Pilothouse forward into the guest cabins.
UPPER DECK-The Flying Bridge is HUGE with tons of seating and storage, plus a Hydraulic Crane for dinghy handling. There are full engine and vessel controls on the Fly Bridge.
IT MUST BE NOTED that the teak woodwork within the vessel is amazing. Arched doorways, Parquet flooring, wall paneling, stairways, ladders, etc. All in excellent condition.
LOWER DECK- The master cabin is aft, and can be accessed by a private stairwell from the salon, OR from the main lower hallway. An "island queen" bed sits along the centerline and there is another single bunk along the Stbd side. Headroom is excellent, as is storage. The master Head and Shower/tub is forward and to port.
Through the forward door is the hallway with an engine room on either side. This arrangement provides for full-stand up engine room access.
At the front of the hallway is the mid-cabin Guest stateroom, also featuring an "island queen" bed, with the headboard along the port side. The private head with tub/shower is along the Stbd side. This cabin also features excellent storage options. Forward from this cabin into another small hallway, with the stairway up to the pilothouse.
A half-bath is here along with access into the forward cabin. This cabin has a V-berth arrangement for sleeping, lots of storage drawers and hanging lockers.
