This rugged boat is made primarily for one thing, and that's to get fish. Her secondary purpose is to get you there comfortably and she excels on both counts. Her Evinrude 200 will push her in excess of 35 MPH and easily cruise there, but she still has some get up and go that will take her to 45 MPH at wide open throttle. If that isn't enough for you, she is rated at 300 HP.
That comfortable ride is brought to you via an aggressive 21 1/2 degree of deadrise at the transom. She easily slices through the rollers with no problem.
Once you comfortably arrive on fish she provides you with tow elongated fishboxes built into the cockpit deck, and there is a nice sized bait well to port, along with a raw - water washdown. To starboard there is a storage area that can also function as another bait well.
Horizontal rod pockets are below each gunwale, while the transom splash well has vertical storage for five rods. Twin pedestal seats allows you and a friend full view of the helm and everything beyond the bow. There are plenty of vertical rod-storage capacity. The bow is arranged with dual seats that house storage compartments on either side of a convenient walkway to the anchor locker. Welded, recessed aluminum bow rails are standard and show the detail and concern for building a stout rugged boat..

Rod holders abound in the cockpit.| The boat's oversized console has a big dashboard that has flush-mounted electronic units.
There is a Lowrance HDS5 fishfinder and GPS combo. The HDS 5 is from Lowranceââ?¬â?¢s high definition product line. The HDS 5 is a very versatile and compact unit that has a relatively small footprint that is perfect for those looking for a space-saving multifunction unit. The SolarMax Plus display provides impeccable images that are crisp and clear in daylight and in low light conditions with fully adjustable backlighting for the screen and keypad. An astounding 30,000 watts of power allows the transducer to penetrate the waters to depths of nearly 5000 feet. With all of that power in concert with familiar but essential tools like FishSymbol ID, FishTrack, and Hyperscroll, nothing will be left unnoticed.

The standard Plexiglas windshield is high enough to block the wind without obscuring vision. The main feature is the compartment in the console with step-down access on the starboard side.

Brawny construction is another attribute. She is a tough boat. Angler used CAD engineering and Valspar high-flex-plus gelcoat. The hull is several layers thick of fiberglass laminate rolled out by hand. The extra fiberglass adds weight and strength to the boat. There is also premium gelcoat to ward off stress cracks. Angler used no wood The hull has limited lifetime warranty. Angler also adds more foam than is required to their hulls in several key areas for increased flotation and safety.
Another noteworthy construction characteristic is the separate, dedicated fiberglass enclosure above the stringer system for the fuel tank. Adding this enclosure keeps the tank isolated and prevents fuel from coming in contact with seawater in the bilge. Other extra construction steps, like using double stainless-steel clamps on the hoses, are more reasons why Angler Boats are part of many government and law enforcement fleets.

If you're in the market for a center console that's focused on fishing and value instead of frills, come take a look at this great boat.
