The basic layout of the Catalina 30 has remained essentially unchanged, a proven and accepted design that has been successful for many years. The V-berth forward with the head aft to port and a locker opposite provides a comfortable cabin and adequate storage. The traditional salon has a large dinette that converts to a double berth. The aft galley is convenient to use with the large double sinks and top-loading icebox. The nav station provides space for storage of charts and navigation equipment. The large double quarter berth is aft to starboard.
