Marine Associated Nonprofit Organizations
Founded in 1984, Safe Harbor Boys Home is a second chance, and at times the only chance, to make a difference in the lives of boys ages 15 to 17 who have suffered various forms of abuse or neglect. Some are abandoned, fatherless, or have lost a parent to death, divorce or desertion. Safe Harbor is a pioneering program that uses the waterfront and vessels as a residential, vocational and educational facility. The Mission of Safe Harbor Boys Home is to effect positive change in the lives of hurting boys by helping them become men of character, integrity and vision. Safe Harbor has an incredible 95% success rate while receiving NO, state, federal or local government funding. This program is supported entirely through private donations, marine industry activities, and the sale of donated watercraft. Please take a moment to view their available boats
