Larson Boats Information

Larson Boats was established way back in 1913 on the shores of the Mississippi River in Minnesota by Paul Larson. Paul embraced the art and detailed craftsmanship of boat construction. The Larson Boat company has always followed a very simple philosophy, that being when "Quality goes in, quality comes out."

As our country fell in love with boating, Larson Boats were there to meet the demand with classic designs and craftsmanship. Over the years, Larson Boats has always looked ahead and embraced new technologies and modern ideas while continuing to maintain their core values of quality.

Larson Boats Today, many Larson boats are built robotically by VEC which stands for Virtual Engineering Composites. The VEC process, which is proprietary to Genmar Marine, the company that builds Larson boats, has completely reinvented the way boats are built. The process takes place in a clean, completely automated self-contained cell. The computer monitors and controls over 800 variables to ensure build-precision for each and every boat. The result is a stronger, smoother riding, precision built, seamless boat from a process that is four times faster than previous methods.

Larson Boats continues to build dependable and affordable boats offering timeless style and outstanding performance. Whether you interest lies in their cruisers or their runabouts, you will find outstanding value, all the desired features and attention to detail the company is famous for. With 24 models ranging from 18 to 24 feet, there is sure to be a Larson model that suits your needs.
