Accommdations
Starting forward, the VIP guest stateroom is voluminous and offers wonderful privacy for your guests. Storage is plentiful in this stateroom with (2) large hanging lockers, (6) cabinets along the hull, and (2) large drawers. This cabin has (4) opening window ports and an opening hatch for natural light and ventilation. Also equipped is a reverse cycle AC unit and private access into the guest head.
The guest/day head is just aft the VIP guest stateroom and to port and features a sink-vanity with granite counter top with storage above and below. The head is electric and your guests will love the separate shower stall.
Athwartships the head to starboard is the second guest stateroom with a double lower berth and optional pullman single berth above. For storage, there is a large hanging locker, (4) drawers, and (2) cabinets outboard. This cabin has an AC unit in addition to a durade vent, opening window port and overhead hatch.
Midships is the expansive raised saloon with large wrap around windows and two fixed hull ports. To starboard is a teak table with comfortable seating for 8. A large Samsung flatscreen TV is mounted on the forward bulkhead, which is connected to satellite TV, DVD player, and bose sound system. To port are two single chairs between a fixed table with an inlaid chessboard. The forward chair is also used when seated at the nav station.

Better equipped than most homes, MINOT has a gourmet galley that will impress any cook on board. The parallel counter tops are granite with a twin dish stainless steel sink and propane stove/oven. A built in freezer is forward with front and top access. Aft is a large refrigerator. Conveniences like a dishwasher, trash compactor and coffee maker are equipped. Storage is plentiful and will keep a large crew well fed when distance cruising.

Located aft of the saloon and to port, this room is purposefully built to serve two functions. First is to provide comfortable accommodations for another guest or captain, and the second is to have a space that can be used to work on equipment. Underneath the mattress is a stainless steel counter top to facilitate any work that may need to get done on board. Underneath the berth is a Splendide washer/drier, storage drawers, and access to the boats electrical systems. Above the berth and outboard are the main electrical distribution panels for the boat. From this stateroom, you also have wonderful stand up access to the engine room.
Furthest aft on board is the palatial master stateroom. The king-sized berth is a true walk around with a custom mattress. Storage can be found throughout and would easily satisfy a live aboard couple. In all there are two large hanging lockers, 10 drawers, and 8 cabinets. To port is a desk with storage underneath and a hidden safe. The master has an ensuite head with separate shower stall.
The master head has a sink vanity has a granite countertop with storage below and above. The head is electric and the separate shower stall is large with a custom teak seat.
Hull/DeckDesigned by Bill Dixon, the Passport 585 is a modern performance long distance cruiser. Her deck layout allows one to freely walk throughout while at rest or underway. A spacious and comfortable cockpit has a centerline drop leaf folding teak table flanked by 6’5” settees, great to stretch out on while underway. The centerline teak table also has an insulated compartment to keep cool beverages within arms reach. The twin helm stations provide excellent visibility and easy access to the side decks or fore and aft cockpit. The aft deck seating area is great for entertaining that doubles as a wonderful family swim, gathering and fishing area. The large aft deck also accommodates two large lazarette lockers.
