Manufacturer's Description
FROM BENETEAU: The designers have managed to blend volume, comfort, high performance and elegance. The slender hull, well-balanced sail plan and the standard deep keel, enhance upwind performance, give directional stability and helm balance when heeled. The new split-level deck layout of the Oceaus 373 combines greater headroom with fluid aesthetics. The cockpit is very spacious and ergonomic. The cunningly designed removable helmsman's seat simplifies access to the bathing platform, while the removable door step makes the companionway very practical. Unrivalled circulation is possible thanks to the brand-new,patented, steering wheel, which can be swiveled out of the way to clear the cockpit, still leaving all the instruments on the helm pedestal.
Performance and Nav PacThis excellent Beneteau 37' is equipped with the optional "PERFORMANCE PACK". It includes; Fully battened performance mainsail with roller cars; Belly compensating jib (foam layer to middle of luff allowing the jib to furl better, and giving the jib a flatter belly when partially furled). Anti-UV strip to jib; Low stretch halyards; H43.2STC genoa sheet winches in place of H44.2STC winches; Folding 3-blade propeller. Also included is the optional NAV PACK - In the cockpit: ST60 Wind instrument linked to masthead windvane anemometer, with cable and junction box at foot of mast. Raymarine ST 60 Tridata instrument (log, speed and depth sounder, with transducers). Raymarine ST6001 autopilot (controller, computer, helm drive and cable), on steering console in cockpit: Raymarine C70 LCD GPS chart plotter with colour 6.5" screen and Navionics Gold cartography. Large sprayhood in Captain blue with 2 stainless steel frames, on bimini. H40.2STC winch to port in place of H32.2STC winch. Hot and cold cockpit shower. Waterproof speakers in cockpit. Cockpit table. The hull is single-skinned GRP construction. Reinforced points (keel, rudder, chain plates, hull-deck joint) help to strengthen the structure. A structural inner moulding is bonded and laminated to the hull. Its structural role is important as it takes and absorbs the stresses at pressure points (shroud chainplate tie rods, keel, rudder, etc.), and spreads any loads guaranteeing reduced strain on the hull. The surface material of the inner moulding makes cleaning easier and provides a better finish. The standard hull color is white with blue and gold decoration.
