Accommodations
Three stateroom, galley down layout, with a true island queen in the Master.
Stunning full varnished teak interior with varnished teak and holly soles. Natural light and ventillation abounds with 10 large windows in the salon/wheelhouse area (2 large windows are sliders with screens) plus sliding doors with windows, 3 large opening hatches and 8 opening stainless steel ports. There are blinds and window treatments for all. Artificial lighting is equally generous with numerous recessed Cantalupi halogen overhead lights and swivel reading lamps at each berth and settee. Lights in each hanging locker and the lazarette as well.
The interior design and detailing was done by mega yacht interior specialists Patrick Knowles Design. The settee in the Salon was done custom for the owner.
Starting forward is the Master Stateroom featuring a true island queen berth a very large storage drawer underneath. The fwd part of the berth is on pnuematic assist cylinders so that it may easily lifted to access storage underneath for less routinely used items. Above the berth the hull is lined with teak ceilings and there are custom built night stands convenient to the berth. Underdeck lockers provide additional storage. Aft and outboard are bureaus with drawers and cedar lined hanging lockers. Aft and to starboard is the generous stall shower while aft and to port is the private Master Stateroom head featuring Vacuflush W.C., large Granite topped vanity and sink and abundant storage.
Aft and to port is a Guest Stateroom featuring thwartship running single berths with a cedar lined hanging locker in between, below the berth are six large drawers. Opposite the stateroom is Guest Head and Laundy Center. The head features Vacuflush W.C., granite vanity top and sink, generous storage and separate stall shower compartment. A locker housing the Asko Washer & Dryer Units.
Next aft and to starboard is the 2nd Guest Stateroom with double fore and aft berth outboard. Forward of the berth is a large hanging locker and there are storage drawers under the berth as well as a night stand inboard.
Opposite the 2nd guest S/R is the Galley (see Galley)
Up three steps is the Main Salon and lower helm station. To port is breakfast bar and chairs which also serves for chart storage underneath. Continuing aft are upholstered swivel chairs on either side of a credenza that houses the yachts entertainment system and 30" flat screen TV that is in a pop up cabinet. At the aft port bulkhead there is a second bureau with some storage under while above the yachts electrical distribution system is behind tinted panel doors. A generous L-settee is to starboard. The settee is fitted with pneumatic cylinders so that seat cushions may be conveniently raised to access storage below. Completing the yacht's decor is a teak hi/low table. The lower helm station is to starboard and is fully fitted with electronics and vessel controls. The Captains Seat is a teal Stidd seat. Water tight doors are on centerline aft and at the helm station to starboard.

Galley
Down Galley arrangement, U shaped to port fully fitted out for gourmet cooking. Generous granite counter space and abundant storage, double basin Scandvik stainless steel sink. The refrigerator is a holding plate design and set up in a stainless steel lined custom over/under full height "box" with raised panel teak doors. The freezer box is top loading and is located in the aft outboard corner.

Mechanical
Twin 3412E Caterpillars turn 5 bladed ZF propellors on 3" Aquamet shafts through Twin Disc 2.07:1 reduction gears. The yacht has been equipped with 5 bladed ZF 36" propellers to meet the owners requirement for super smooth and quiet running. In addition to the lower and upper helm controls there is the optional Twin disc remote vessel control system on a 50' cable. This unit is capable of operating the engine gears & throttles and bow thruster so that the owner or Captain can manuever the vessel from literally anywhere onboard.
Fuel is maintained in two fiberglass tanks one of 850 gal. with the reserve tank being 325 gallons.
Air Conditioning/Heating: The yacht is equipped with a Marine Air Chiller system for climate control. 4 Chiller compressors provide ample capacity to drive 105,000 BTUs of reverse cycle A/C capacity via 7 air handlers and controls. Air conditioning includes the engine room!

Deck & Hull Equipment
Flag blue Imroned hull 05' with gold leaf cove stripe, white bootstripe and with bottom finished in a multiseason hard epoxy in Green. Vacuum bagged PVC foam core above the water line and solid fiberglass construction below.
Full width cockpit with teak deck, storage in lockers under the side decks. Below are lazarettes over 5' in height with lighting, ample room for storage of fenders lines and deck chairs. Custom made brackets for dinghy chocks and for stowing lines. Fwd and to port is the water tight door for walk in access to the engine room while opposite to starboard is the cockpit wet bar which also houses a U-line icemaker.
Ascend the spiral staircase with teak treads to the spacious flying bridge. Two low back ultra leather covered Stidd seats at the helm with a large L-settee aft and to port with Almond ultra leather cushions. A varnished teak grate style pedestal table is mounted at the L-settee. To starboard is a wet bar. The flying bridge enclosure received particular attention to preserve the attractive line of the yacht and is done in ivory Stamoid with scratch resistant aqualite windows, six of them opening.
Two steps up from the cockpit to generous side decks with stainless steel safety rails leading forward. At the bow there are storage lockers P&S of the anchor pulpit for dock line and fender storage. Teak and stainless anchor platform.
In keeping with exquisite appearance of the yacht, to insure symmetry a 2nd "dummy" KVH dome has been installed on the port side of the hard top to mirror the active KVH entertainment system dome to starboard.

Additional Info
This Eastbay 58 is only on the market as her owners find that they generally cruise as a couple. The owner is extremely proud of this yacht and that shows in the numerous custom details he has added and overall care. It would be difficult to find a better cared for yacht anywhere on the market today and she comes with our highest recommendation. This particular vessel was sea trialed by a number of writers for marine publications, they have commented extensively on what a remarkably quiet yacht she is her and on her capability as a sea boat. The listing broker has also run her on several occasions and can also attest to her remarkable ease of handling for just one or two people.
