All the comforts of home...
Colorado Cat is a second owner boat and has spent most of her life in fresh water. She is exceptionally well maintained and outfitted. She was hauled in February 2017 for bottom paint, fuel filters and new dripless shaft seals. She was once again hauled in January 2018 for inspection and routine maintenance, before being listed for sale. Colorado Cat has taken her two previous Captains safely thru the Bahamas and has comfortably navigated the Great Loop twice. A comprehensive log has been kept for every voyage since her first Captain took the helm.
Her interior is maintained in comfort with two 16,000 BTU Cruisair reverse cycle air conditioners and a 14,000 BTU reverse cycle roof mounted air conditioner for the fully enclosed cockpit. Always cruise in comfort. Enjoy clean drinking water anywhere you roam with a 12V 400 GPD water maker; or connect to potable water in your slip with a dockside water inlet. Enjoy ample power to run all your comfort devices with a 6KW Northern Lights generator or draw from the four, newly installed, 4D house bank batteries with the upgraded 5KW inverter (a spare 3KW inverter on standby). Refill the house bank each day with the four 110 watt solar panels discretely mounted above the cockpit. Enjoy the shade on the back deck under a new Sunbrella awning while launching the custom Endeavour tender or filleting the catch of the day.
Colorado Cat's normal cruise speed is 8 knots with an economical fuel consumption of less than 2 gallons per nautical mile. With a 500 gallon diesel tank, that gives you a range of nearly 1,000 nautical miles. When you need to get ahead of the weather or you simply want to get where your going, throttle up to 3,200 rpm and the twin 240HP Yanmar's will smoothly make way at 16 knots. Once the anchor is down and you're ready to explore your new surroundings, launch the custom built Endeavour all fiberglass tender simply with the press of a button.
Colorado Cat boasts all new Garmin electronics (still under warranty): GPS, radar, Sirus XM weather, autopilot, depth sounder, VHF with helm remote, loud hailer & fog horn. Enjoy exceptional situational awareness provided by the updated electronics package and unobstructed 360º view from the plush helm seat in the air conditioned and roomy cockpit.
Step into the roomy saloon to relax on the large couch while watching TV via the Trac Vision DV3 satellite antenna. There is an amazing amount of storage aboard this vessel and even a dedicated liquor cabinet and wine rack, complete with hanging glasses. A head with walk in shower is located to starboard midship (all hoses in both heads were replaced last year). The Galley is located in the port hull with ample work space, a two burner stove and oven, stainless steel double sink, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, Seagull water purification system and multiple drawers and cabinets offering extensive storage for cookware and provisions.
Enjoy three comfortable staterooms with a roomy queen size berth Master cabin (forward). The Master cabin has it's own en-suite head with walk in shower to starboard. Hanging lockers and ample storage (to include an ironing board/clothes folding station) to port.
While underway, transiting locks or just enjoying the sun set at anchor, the wide stable decks and tall stainless steel life lines will provide comfort & safety for all deck evolution's. You simply can not get this much deck space on a vessel of this size in anything other than a catamaran.
