(LOCATION: Merritt Island FL) This DeFever 49 Raised Pilothouse SE is a serious blue water cruiser with classic style and accommodations. She is heavily built and designed to take you anywhere, in any weather, and do with comfort and style. Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, to live-aboard, or cruise to the islands this 49’ LRC is ready to accommodate. She features a flybridge, aft deck, pilothouse, large open salon, and two staterooms to insure room, comfort, and convenience.

On deck we start at the top with a flybridge with hinged radar arch. The upper helm station has dual helm seats and stainless steel destroyer wheel. Guest seating provides open air space to relax or entertain. A Magnum grill provides a spot to prepare that fresh catch. The deck space behind the bridge is home for the 10.2' Achilles RIB with 20-hp Honda outboard, stainless steel dinghy davit, and 6-man life raft. Below is an open aft deck with hardtop and wet bar.. The aft deck makes a great place to relax, entertain, or dine alfresco. Wide side decks lead forward, there's a ladder down to the swim platform, and  a doorway to the salon.

The salon is open, airy, with teak finish and parquet floors with galley forward. The galley features teak cabinets, Corian counter top, stainless steel double sink, Princess range with oven, microwave / convection oven, and Sears refrigerator/freezer. Teak cabinets house a laundry with washer and dryer.The traditional U-shape puts everything at arm's length and open counter includes the chef with everyone in the salon. Forward and up is pilothouse with lower station, side deck access, settee with table, ice maker,and teak & holly sole.

There are two staterooms. The master stateroom features queen berth with custom mattress,  under-berth storage, night stand, custom cabinets, and hanging lockers. The en suite head has toilet, vanity with mirror, and shower stall with seat. The guest stateroom has upper and lower berths, under berth storage and hanging locker. The guest / day head has toilet, mirrored vanity, linen closet, and shower stall.

Gypsies in the House is powered by twin 225-hp John Deere turbo diesel engines designed for economical and dependable performance. Mechanical features include Marine Air reverse cycle HVAC, Westerbeke 12.5-kW generator, hydraulic steering, hydraulic engine controls, Racor dual fuel filters, Fireboy automatic fire suppression, Wesmar bow thruster, Naiad stabilizers, Accusynch engine synchronizers, and MSD sanitary system with VacuFlush heads, holding tank, and macerator. Electronics include Raymarine open array 72 nm radar, Raystar 120 GPS receiver, Robertson AP20 autopilot, Robertson AP22 autopilot, Raymarine ST60 tridata display, Standard Horizon Spectrum VHF with WX, hailer, foghorn, IC, Standard Horizon RAM MIC, Standard Horizon 240SW hailer speaker, Jensen AM/FM/WX sound system the CD changer and Poly Planar speakers, Icom IC-M710RT SSB MF/HF transceiver, Icom AT 130 SSB tuner, Litton / Guest EPIRB.
