Layout and Accommodations
The cockpit is large for a boat of this size with wide side decks, hand holds, and stainless steel railings making it safe and easy to go forward for anchoring and handling lines. The anchor platform has an electric windlass and a self-draining anchor locker for chain, anchor, and rode. A cushioned sunning spot is center-line in front of the windshield while just behind a 24in. deck hatch, and four opening ports provide plenty of light and ventilation below.
The helm console is to starboard with dual engine instrumentation, helmsman’s chair and opposite to port is the navigator’s chair mounted on the functionally designed tackle and bait station console complete with a bait sink and large storage locker below. The white Lexan(™) slider door closes off the spacious living accommodations, galley, and head compartment.
Down one step from the bridge deck the expansive self-draining cockpit includes a lighted live bait well, fish well with macerator, aft bench seating, and to port the transom door opens out to the wide swim platform. Rupp(™) outriggers, numerous rod holders, and rod storage racks complete the fisherman’s needs while cushioned bolsters surround the cockpit add a generous measure to the crew’s comfort.
Below deck and down 3 steps to port the full length galley counter runs forward with a stainless steel sink, a large deep drawer and galleyware locker, a Princess(™) single burner electric stove and under is a Norcold refrigerator with an ice compartment. Further aft, there is a large hanging locker with an Origo(™) microwave on top. Opposite to starboard is the fully enclosed standup 6'3" head compartment with a mirrored vanity and sink with a Euro style shower and electric toilet. All the way forward is a double berth with storage below and amidship two single flip up over/under berths also with storage below. The stowaway dining table can be used for either having meals or playing board games during leisure times.
