Clean example of the renowned Irwin 42 MKIII, a favorite among cruisers.

Ocean racer Ted Irwin put his extensive sailing experience into designing and building blue water sailboats during a 30 year span, influencing U.S. yachting in the process.  The Irwin 43 CC is one of his most successful designs.  LAST STAR has all the Irwin amenities: air conditioning, lots of storage, a separate shower stall in each head, spacious sleeping areas and a good separate galley.  The Irwin 43 Mk II shows a sturdy profile. The tall bow is flared to shed seas, and freeboard is ample. Below the waterline, the deep forefoot is joined to a fin keel. Ballast is 7,000 pounds. The spade rudder is skeg-mounted.  Below, starting at the stern, the aft master cabin has a large centerline queen bed and a large adjacent head with a separate shower compartment. The Nav station is placed to port alongside the cockpit companionway. The salon has seating to starboard and an L-shaped settee/dining area to port. The galley down is to starboard beside the companionway. There's a forward cabin closed off behind the salon bulkhead, with a V-berth and its own adjacent head and shower. Call for all the details.
