This beautiful Moody 425 just completed a 1500 nautical mile offshore journey returning to Jacksonville, Florida from Grenada in the Windward islands of the Caribbean. The entire trip was done double handed with all sail adjustments accomplished from the safety of the cockpit.

The current owners are switching to RVing after 11 years on the water, and Brilliant is now looking for new owners to put many more miles under her hull.

The Moody 425 is a Bill Dixon design known for seaworthiness and comfort. Boasting a luxurious 3 cabin, 2 head layout with a spacious aft cabin fit for a king and queen in a robust 42 bluewater cruiser. A comfortable center cockpit protected by a full enclosure and sugar scoop transom make life on deck just as enjoyable as life down below.

All these luxuries with the ease of sailability make the Moody a top choice in Europe, but finding a Moody setup for 110V US power is a rarity. Loaded with all the electronics you need, set up to single or easily double hand with water maker, solar panels, wind generator, plenty of refrigeration and freezer space and much much more make this boat READY TO GO!

The current owners have many years of knowledge and experience between them. One is a Naval Academy graduate and a CG certified Captain, the other a Marine Industry professional. Together they have sailed thousands of offshore miles in the western Atlantic ocean and Caribbean sea. This boat was their home for almost 2 ½ years, and they have cared for it wellT.

The previous owners are equally knowledgeable and experienced. They sailed Brilliant to the US from the Mediterranean, through the Caribbean and up and down the East Coast, and still remain in contact with the current owners.
