LOWEST PRICED 50ft+ BLUEWATER ON THE MARKET

For sale is a 51ft 1988 Bluewater Yachts Coastal Cruiser. This is the lowest priced 50ft+ live aboard boat in Southern FL right now. She has a new modern open layout, and space that competes with 70ft boats and condos, for a micro fraction of the cost. It has a full galley, 3 staterooms, (one converted into a closet), and 2 full heads.

The boats History: It has cruised the Keys, the Bahamas, and the Great Loop. For the last 5 years it has been in the area and used as a floating condo. Total hours on the boat are around 3300.  Engines have been rebuilt, but the hours since the rebuild are unknown. The starboard engine has a knock, but still runs and cruises fine.

How I would rate various items. 0 being unserviceable, and in need of replacing, and 10 being like new condition:

Canvas: 5/10. Signs of aging (shrinking, patches, small tears) but still does what it needs to
Marine Electronics: 7/10. Dated but fully functional and adequate for most needs.
Audio system: 8/10. Sounds great, new stereo, other components show signs of age.
Exterior Decks: 6/10. Moderate delamination, small soft spot near icemaker. Common for this boat
Interior space: 8/10. Updated recently
Engines: 6/10. Running, recently serviced, one has a knock, but will run for a long time to come if not pushed too hard.
Electrical Wiring. 6/10. Fully functional, but spaghetti like in some areas.
Hull (Bottom & Transom): 9/10. Inspected and painted April 2017, and show no signs of blisters, moisture, or delamination.
Gelcoat: 5/10. Will require professional attention to improve the oxidation
Interior soft goods: 8/10 Great condition minus couch
Exterior soft goods: 6/10 Aged, and has small rips and tears.

This averages out to about 7 out of 10

Just like any boat, there is some good and there is some bad. But this is the perfect boat for fulltime or part time liveaboard and entertaining. This year these boats with gas engines have sold between $45k and $75k The $45,000 one was a non-functional, rotting complete renovation project, and the 75k was as turn key as a 30 year old boat can get. This is a fully functional, renovated boat, with a short list of deferred maintenance items, and it is price accordingly.

A full maintenance log, previous surveys, and our complete future maintenance log will be provided to the new owner of this boat.
