Deck
The HR 42 Enderlein model is molded solid fiberglass built according to Lloyd s specifications for Certificate of Hull Construction and under personal supervision of a Lloyd s surveyor and reinforced with frames and stringers of encapsulated foam, glassed over. Hull is Awlgrip Whisper Gray with Midnight Blue boot stripe which was redone in March of 2004. The hull-to-deck joint consists of approximately 12 layers of glass from deck down to glass hull, making it an extremely stiff hull-to-deck joint. Stanchions are set on top of 25 mm stainless steel pins placed in the bulwarks during construction.
