NO HURRICANE IRMA DAMAGE 

“YOUNG AT HEART� is a great example of an Ed Monk, Jr. design that has been upgraded and customized in recent years for extended cruising in comfort with low maintenance requirements.. New non skid epoxy decks where installed in 2013 to replace teak on all outside areas. ( No deck leaks existed but this eliminates the possibility for ever having any.) New fiberglass hardtop was custom fabricated and installed in 2013 over bridge deck, for quality navigating, socializing, and relaxing. EZ2CY enclosures on fly bridge were installed in 2013 and provide clear vision and foul weather protection . (These can be opened to enjoy the fresh air). Upper and lower helm stations are both fully equipped with all controls and navigation instruments. Bow and stern thrusters, installed in 2012, to make navigation thru locks and docking a joy. New air conditioning / heating systems,installed in 2013 for comfortable living and sleeping in all three cabins. Fuel polishing system installed in 2008  helps insure trouble free cruising. Routine maintenance including regular oil and filter changes have kept the reliable Ford Lehman engines trouble free. “ YOUNG AT HEART� has cruised with it’s current owner and his wife to the Bahamas,  Florida Keys,  Chesapeake Bay and the entire Great American loop, without any problems and is ready for it’s next adventure.
